Divided Love

I don't see you
And I don't hear your voice
just because im a kid
I still have a choice
You and mom are angry
but why take it out on me
I don't understand it
when you divorce me
I don't see you
And I don't hear your voice
You say you love me
but I don't understand
No visits no letters
My father now a strange man
You and mom are angry
and I guess that includes me
You might have divorced her
but you also divorced me

Betrayed

I'm not speaking
she's not ever
we both assume
betrayed

I'm not given in
she wont budge
we both rename immature

Someone will talk
no one will listen
if pride didn't hold us
our so call friends would

Its a small annoyance
and we would let it be
if only we assume
we could
