Jayson Rios Poem
I felt a shock, when you tossed me away,
Talking about the bad things, is all you can say,
You didn’t feel an ounce of bad for me,
You’re not satisfied seeing me on one knee,
My life story just went blank,
You had no problem pushing me off the plank,
I’m floating off at sea,
And it happening without you next to me,

Jayson Rios Poem
When i came across your sublime complexion,
Your radiance triggered my desire for your attention,
I stood statue like muddled as my palms drown in sweat,
Thinking that only in dreams perfection could be met,
But I've been wrong,
I'll embrace that lesson,
Meeting you was more then pleasant,
I don't know why or how,
But your light permeated through my dark cloud,
I hope that us coming across each other can last,
Because soon i'll fear that i'll just be another memory of the past,

Jayson Rios Poem
I told myself that i wouldn't fall again,
but this time i fell for a friend,
I thought that hanging out could of brought us together,
but now it feels like i lost you forever,
at least now i can say that I've been through it all,
for some reason the more i stand the more i fall,
even though these lonely nights feel like they are getting longer,
I view them as bumps on the road that are making me stronger,
for a while loneliness i use to fear,
but i have learned that life is like murky water once it settles,
everything becomes clear,

Jayson Rios Poem
As I lay on the grass,
I Jealously glare up at the sky,
Blinded by my past,
but guided by your light,
Astray in my desert life,
I absorb your rigid knowledge of strength and right,
I’ve discovered that you come and go without a fight,
You’re always up high standing tall,
Even when you’re half yourself, you never fall,

Jayson Rios Poem
I can see all the pain you hold,
Through those eyes,
I see winters cold,
love that hasn’t died,
and love that you refuse to leave behind,
But there's so much to learn,
Life is full of surprises,
After every burn,
The sun still rises,

Jayson Rios Poem
An ocean once surrounded by land,
Here I try to stay a float, with no help in hand,
How can you let me go?
I just don’t understand,
Im going down,
I know because I’ve been here before,
You wont be at peace till I hit the ocean's floor,
