Marisa Watkins Poem
Drinking life to being sober
My drinking life is over
It was not as fun as I thought it would be
I am now loving being sober
This is the new me
It placed me in places I don’t want to be
People have really worried about the life I was living
I am no longer the monster living inside of me
People did not have to be so forgiving

Marisa Watkins Poem
Feelings of inferiority
Irritated and enraged
Just like ocean waves
Defensiveness like a baby who tries and crawls but falls
Fear and forlorn hit the floor
Confused and want to run out the door
Insecurity and hopelessness are at the pore
Guild and hatred will haunt you down
Screams of agony are the closest sounds
Lost in the middle of overwhelming I fall to the ground
Will the emotions ever end?
Fear of rejection my mind sends
All I need for this to end is friends

Marisa Watkins Poem
Nature at its best
An aircraft in the sky
Birds are flying nearby
The ocean is beautiful and close by
The surf has been high I wonder why
Nature is amazing the wildlife can be shy
Hunters may perceive to get a bulls-eye
Eagles may be the next pry
Nature is a loving place and glad to see it in the sky or nearby
