Making Headlines

I read you like the paper
 Your face a cover page
 I catch the comics daily
 I master all it's games
Extra, extra, I'm all about it
I'll slather up a soap box,
 An' have that shit surrounded.
 Hey everyone! This just in:
 She's about to make headlines
For swingin' them bats like Tony Gwynn

Energy Engulfs

Embracing an empath's emotion
Inflicts instant inherit intrustion
Beckoning beast, begging beneath
Decaying defenseless delusion.

The Path To Peace

Once upon a nightmare
Lived a child, born so still
 A hopeless life bestowed
 To a conscience lacking will
 Nowhere, was innocence
 The girl discovered sin
 Concerned of nothing now
 Unaware of storms within
 And so the mourning came
 Gloomy farewell to dreams
 Numbness somehow aching
 Though useless, began her screams
 Post-mortem existence
 Enslaved by every thought
 Years spent self-destructing
 Finding silence with a shot

Rock, Paper, Scissor

Need to do something constructive so I don't fall to my doom.
Rock, paper, scissor (before I go a howlin' at the moon)
Rock for the times when life's really on a roll
Emotion into rhythm, stabbing, bleeding from a soul
Paper holding the weight of what I'm throwing out from my pen
I carry words around until they escape from me again
Scissor sharp skills can cut the f#ck out of a rug
But life's not a dance unless addicted like a drug.

Kill Room

Unforgiving cemented ground
Chaotic yearning echos 'round
Breathing seething sour fume
Hollow icebox makeshift tomb

The Calling

I am calling out the coward...
 Do away with that disguise!
I cannot breathe, My body shakes
 Don't wait 'til patience dies!
I'm well aware- you have no soul
Still, I wish that you were dead
I bite my tongue, My stomach bleeds
I kill you in my head.

Untitled

Honestly. What's the best policy? Honesty?
Don't loose lips sink ships? You follow me?
"Keep your circle small."
"Keep your enemies close."
How much is enough, then, to have them by the ropes?
"Knowledge is power."
"Ignorance is bliss."
How does one choose between THAT or THIS?
Idioms, cliches, metaphors and more. Life's one big contradiction we're all dying to explore.
