An Ode To My Cherished Friend

Every word uttered in the mad rush of a day,
Journeys back to haunt me in the dark’s calm.
Those that /occurred with him bears no exception.
Stuck with regret over petty fights that doth not warrant a cut
Yet, so happened.
The resplendent ray of sunshine,
That illuminates a particularly boring two dozen hours,
Will surely not be shunned by beating hearts of any type.
Such and more was his smile,
Sweeping swiftly through the vast expanse of the populace unhindered,
Portraying no exceptions,
Albeit me.

The Exudate of Charisma

I did with sinking heart, notice
Ask me what, and I will deliver sans prejudice.
Minus three from a decade being on precipice,
Yet hammered for erecting defensive rise,
His self-belief pervaded poll's vice.
Thus ploughed he, relentless and determined
towards staggering recordings of happy lies.
Finally he did recede, failing entry's justice.

From 'Hearty Racket' To Happy Banter

They have in their senses,
A bloated self-image worthy of pulling the best.
Letter-assortments, their sense, they knew not,
Yet march on with leaps of obstinacy to brim.
Subtly aided by the fairest in all,
Visualed only due to sacrifice of self
So maintained, would ever beget close but forget house.
Once the camaraderie drew to lilting curtain
Harsh truth waded in, silently loud undertones to company,
Inasmuch as it ever could in.
Known hell hath no fury..
That of men’s remain shrouded till,
A dawn unto desperation.
Did they unleash latent hate gusts!
Sure eroded escorts pumps to barren fields.
The entire saga into the past,
The series opens to a new pilot
For two, lived in eternal hope,
Finally reaching union, taking rope.

Strained Quartet

We talked unknownst to each other, that,
All hell would break loose.
What could possibly come of two talking in harmony?
Us, filmy for a film even,
Shattered beyond cry or wail.
Crying for spilt milk is adagedly a vestige
The value of milk spilt resurfaces only then,
And crying for lost value,
Is it a vestigial adage too?
After all, none can rue when they have what they crave,
Two people desperate for each other,
One voluntarily cocooning, the other involuntarily so,
Nothing of what we had felt fake,
Though people make it out to be.
Trust, on which everything should be based so,
Even that ensured,
Neither of us get why each of us is separate.
All four desperately wanting the other,
Too egoistic to spell it out
And yet still confined,
And shackled to persons they bear less of the love to,
Or is that false?

A Tentative Peek

To you I profess care,
True or untrue rests in you fair,
What runs inside you I know not rare?
But surely did not come in a moment thread-bare.
At and all times like this,
To allay all shackles,
That, with hope, does not express by pyre.

The Agony of a Lost Friend

The losses tug at my heart,
With a force never congruent with materialistic entities.
Even as two replaced two,
Comparison vestigial and always untrue.
The crease created below the essence of survival,
And his continued sustenance of effort to that maintenance,
Never can be begot by penance.
Inducing such short-lived moments, since only possible by also-rans,
Resolute sustenance rendered him unmatched yet tainted glory,
In my world-windows.
Was he adept at calm and storm and blunders galore!
Alas! Revisits remain mired in lore.

Night Trials

You drift off into the slumber, not so peaceful I may say,
You beg to differ, only that you are wishing,
Why not, I ask,
You fail to trust people with your meandering,
again I reason you?
And you serve me no retorts.
Well, that is how you were moulded, and your moulders too.

The Fear

Eternally do we cower behind reasons,
when we possess the perfect machine bestowed upon us to dazzle the self
when the brightest minds look for mechanical solutions,
someone flew ahead to use chemicals.
With only them in clutch, he created the mind
that which could travel anywhere within a blink.
Endowed with this and much more,
we shiver and shudder within ourselves.
