Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge

I'll go there and I'll wait for him,
I'll go to Brooklyn Bridge
What hour I don't know

He'll come, he'll be there
To hold my hand
Willing to understand
He'll know me inside and out
My craziness, my weakness,
And what I'm all about
He'll take my passion to love, to give
He'll give it back to me.

But what if ?
One day I'll realize
That the Brooklyn Bridge is empty
It's only me who is waiting
It's only me, the sky and endless water.

I'll go to Brooklyn bridge tomorrow,
What hour I don't know.

Choosing My Battle

We all choose our battles you said,
In all of them you lose or gain with dread
When there is nothing to fight for,
I stopped. There is nothing left in my core.

I dived out of an airplane
Like in a dream AND a nightmare.
With no parachute or a safety net
All I could feel was that cold sweat.

With my plain hold that this chaos is true,
I gave up on my religion for you.
I lost myself, I lost "my dew"
I fought with my whole, should I rue?
Just like you,
With dread, I choose to lose in this battle too.

Morgue

October 5th, 2014

I walk into this morgue
After a long lasting stroke.
The room is a little small for a hospital,
A little big for this heart
And still, it all feels so logical.

Dead bodies all over the place
Lined up inside cold refrigerators.
They are past, long time lost
You are the present
But with no future to rent

Your body is still warm
But I need to put you in that damn drawer!
In small pieces I was torn
Just lying on dead cold floor.
You will not see me cry,
Grieving stage has past long time ago
I was dancing with the dead alone
Maintaining the status quo in that zone

After cutting you off, opening you up
It seems like no one can interrupt.
Digging into your guts, inside out
Just to find out
That this autopsy is so painful
For a body that is still alive
So is the love
(That we never had)
What is it to you? - You are already dead

Walking out of that morgue
With another stroke,
Throwing away that surgical mask
Seeking for a life I was afraid to ask

Longing

I miss you with every inch of my flesh
Every single minute of my breaths
Every morning I’ll try to refresh
My soul, my spirits, my depths

Longing for you in every thought of my brain
Till I feel completely drain.
You left me there,
Not knowing if I lost or gained.

You didn’t want to be there anymore
You closed that room, that door.
It’s that intangible, as it's that profound.
You left us there in our playground
For us to see, what would we leave behind.

I wish I could forgive you,
If only I knew how to hate you.
I wish I could forgive my ways
But my heart knows no regrets.

I miss you with every inch of my flesh
You see, alas, our souls didn’t mesh
Time will heal
You’ll see - it will
As we slowly peel
That pain, that I want you to steal.

I miss you with every inch of me.

Letting You Go

Letting You Go

And I let you go
When I was with him,
I wondered alone
No one could hear me scream.

The nightmares faded.
I let us die,
       Every night,
                 In my dream.

                                                                                                                                                     December 9th, 2013

The Philosopher

November 17th, 2014

The day that you will come to hold my hands
When you will touch my under-skin
No fears, no tears, no doubts

I will be like that ancient philosopher
I will accept the wisdom of his words:
The whole is greater than the sum of it's parts ----
---- Then I will know who you are.
My Aristotle
