I don’t want to forget you
Even though it’s ended
I still think we were meant to be
I hope we can mend it
My heart feels heavy
I have so much on my mind
So much to say
But you’ve left me behind
And it’s devastating
To know you’ve lost faith
You left without reason
Left me to wait
My minds trying to hate you
Then why is my heart being difficult?
~Call me pathetic… but I still hope you come home…~

He said that he was sorry
But this hatred was too strong
I wasn’t ready to forgive him
He had waited far too long
I tried to heal my wounded soul
As days turned into years
Trying to leave the memories behind
Drowned in my own tears
He said that he would come back
But all of that was a lie
You said you would come back
You left without saying good bye
And you tried calling me the other night
I told you to leave me alone
I wasn’t ready to be hurt again
And hung up so you could lie to the dial tone…
It wasn’t his fault… it was mine… but by the time I realized this
he was gone forever…
I just want to say I am sorry
Didn’t want you to leave that way
And I still love you
And think about you night and day
Just wanted to say that I’m sorry
I know I said I’d never forget
But now all my hatred
Has all turned into regret…
