Little Funny Man

There was a little man
Who every single day
When he left his house
The people ran away
Just because he was different
And didn’t really fit in
People would laugh and mock him
And put fireworks in his bin
The man though he stayed cheerful
Always smiling and upbeat
But slowly it got to him
He couldn’t compete
Hs days grew slightly darker
He locked himself in the house
Never saw a living soul
As quiet as a mouse
He lived this way for many years
Until one day no more
He was awoken from his daze
By someone knocking at his door
He opened up to see
AA strange man standing there
His skin a funny colour
And he had no hair
He looked into his eyes
And instantly he knew
This guy must be related
A spitting image too
Long lost twins reunited
He had found what was missing
His loneliness benign
Happiness was found
And now his life complete
His head held high
As he walked down the street
The moral of this story
Is to never give up hope
You never know
When life will throw you
An emergency rope
Be strong
And keep your head held high
Live your life
And do not lie
Down in the gutter
And hide away
Live for the moment
And cease the day
