Calm Waters

Music, is like a cloud singing to the sun, as it passes by.
It calms the water on a windy day.
The trees sing, and the wind smiles.
Do you think, they listen to each other?

"invisioned: Dance of the Dead"

I saw him alone, in his' own little world.
Eyes pinched together, barely able,
To see over the edge of infinity.
I watch him.
Not with my eyes, but with my soul.
My heart aches.
It opens.
A single drop of blood falls, in an anguished cry.
His' blanket, fell at his' feet.
Snow, danced around the body, and,
I could almost hear them laughing.
Were they merry,At knowing he had strayed from his' broken state?
I watched, and I scratched my mind,
On a whisp of barbed wire.

A Letter To My Darling

The story that I am writing,
Could easily be true.
It could have happened,
To either me or to you;

In a mail room somewhere,
A letter lays unread.
On the front of the envelope,
This is what it said:
"A Letter To My Darling"

The envelope was old, and tattered with years.
On the pages, they seem to still be, wet with tears;
"In a fox hole my darling", that's how it all began,
"We were running from the enemy,
And it was more than I could stand.
"In A Letter To My Darling."

"I toss and turn, unable to rest.
I love you so much, cause to me,
You are the best;
I don't want to die, in this unforsaken land.
But, I have my faith in God,
And here is where I"ll stand."
"In A Letter To My Darling."

As the last page was folded,
They were choaking back the tears.
And each one began to wonder,
How it lasted through the years;
Then on the envelope, some words began to appear.
"Thank you", it read, For all the latters you sent me.
Signed, "A Letter To My Dear."

An Hour Past Midnight

Thirteen stricks the clock.
Cob webs dance in the corner of darkness;
Cats are always on the prowl, and ghosts,
Still scare little kids in their dreams

Deaths' Dry Eye

" Yah I'm the candy man, broke my sack.
 got your money, can't have it back.
 took you heart, and broke it good;
 Can't cry for you, I never could.
 Leave me alone oh, did I say,
 That if you don't, you'll pay, and pay.
  I killed you once, you did not die;
 Good by dead meat, I said good by."

"Saturday,police discovered the body of a young man.
There are no leads in the case, at this time. And,
Police are asking that all...
