Therese Waneck Poem
Trim prim lawns
Glistening dew drops
In the summer sun
Trim slim blades
Evaporating raindrops
In the summer sun
I hail you suburbia!
You who can neatly replace nature's disorder
And transform it into a methodical scheme
Of meterical dwellings and measurable property
You who is prepared for the chopping of unruly grass so green
And the bagging of it all in a plastic sack

Therese Waneck Poem
My poor professor
Reminded everyone of a right angle
Resting at zero degrees
He arched zealously against the board
Leaning towards the mark
Of passionate perfect placement
Ninety!

Therese Waneck Poem
Portrayed
We were in a frame
Spinning smiles and years
To the man in the tailored suit
We sat sarcastic and cynnical and grave
Fading and buried by age...
