Why Didn'T We Last

He broke my heart,
and left me to die.
Sitten here in the dark
I ask myself, why?

I think about the past,
what all we went through.
Why didn't we last?
What wrong did i do?

You told me you loved me,
I thought it was true.
Can't you see?
The liar was you.

It's over now,
I'll be o.k.
but i wonder how...
I'll last another day.

I loved you baby,
I love you still...
I always have,
and i always will.

I Killed Myself Today

I sit here and watch my life as it flashes before my eyes.
The understanding of how and the question of why run through my mind.
People stare as my dreams fall apart.
They cant see my tears, or my broken heart.

I lie awake at night and cry.
Wondering-how long till i die?
Death...the thought scares me.
But I'm willing to take that risk.
I start to scream even louder,
as I watch the blood pour from my wrists.

I try so hard to get away,
but nobody lets me go.
If you were to leave me alone today,
I would be gone tomorrow.

Why does no one hear me?
Listen to my cries for help?
But still I sit here all alone...
dealing with the pain myself.

You think I'll get over it,
that I'll soon be o.k.
but that's where you're wrong,
because i killed myself today...

Where Did Our Love Go

Love is not real.
It's a figment of your imagination.
This is how I feel.
It's an obsession.

You've broken my heart,
too many times before.
It's only smart,
to close that door.

To forget the pain you brought,
is so hard to do.
I was in love-or so I thought,
and you were too.

I don't understand,
why you would do this to me,
your not blind,
so why can't you see?

Or maybe you are,
I don't even know,
all i ask is...
where did our love go?

The Face of Death

I stand in the rain,
as the tears fall down my face.
I think about the pain,
and the stupidity of my mistake.

I look down at my arms,
and of course i still see them.
Those hideous scars,
that brought so much pain and no freedom.

I'm soaking wet and freezing cold,
I shiver as the rain continues to fall.
I ask the question I want to know...
and no one answers-no one at all.

I'm all alone,
and it's getting dark,
I feel the pain,
of my broken heart.

I step onto the ledge,
and say a little prayer,
I thank God,
for always being there.

I jump and see the rushing water,
closer and closer I get,
I know my life will soon be over...
and now I've seen the face of death.

I'Ll Be Here Forever

I seen him yesterday,
the first in seven weeks.
My heart completely stopped,
I couldn't even speak.

Couldn't look into those eyes,
my love for him is real.
I tried so hard not to cry,
I can't help the way I feel.

He doesn't know how much,
I'm in love with him.
I was depressed for three long weeks,
and now I'm happy again.

To see and feel him
and hear him speak,
was so special,
the best gift given to me.

I love him,
I really do...
and hopefully,
He loves me too.

It was the first time,
I'd seen him cry,
It broke my heart,
I wanted to die.

Now he knows,
that I really love him,
I'll be here forever,
I'll never leave my baby again.
