KG, the "Big Ticket"
as you are fondly called
every game you bring it
playing so fierce and so bold..
From high school sensation
to NBA superstar
an MVP recognition
and a 10-time All-Star..
Filling up the stats
and lighting up the scoreboard
with each board, dime, swipe, swat,
and every hoop that you score..
The talent, the leadership,
the aura, the appeal,
the whole package, you have it
plus all those endorsement deals..
An outstanding contributor
on and off the court
a citizenship award winner
the community you support..
One of the greatest ever
but still without a ring
soon you'll get what you deserve
and be hailed champion, a king..

It’s the final quarter
In this seventh game
From courtside to the bleachers
People are chanting my name..
I look at the clock
It reads only three
The score’s a deadlock
Everybody’s on their feet..
Not a second to waste
Coach calls for time
And we huddle in haste
‘Coz the game’s on the line..
He sets up the play
The ball goes to me
Of course that’s clear as day
‘Coz I am the MVP!
The ref whistles, ready or not
Teammate inbounds, passes, I catch
A few dribbles, split the double, then I pop
Swish! Game over, we win the match!
The crowd roars, the championship’s won
On my knees and in tears I rejoice with the team
But when I opened my eyes, boom! They’re gone!
Alas, just another dream..

Never have I felt
Better than I do now
I journey to the heavens
And I am not looking down..
As I rise up in the sky
The smoke gets in my eyes
I get blinded by the light
But then I reach paradise..
Everything is beautiful
And everything is mine
But if you defy me you fool
I will shatter your spine!
Now I want more
Though I know I shouldn’t
But I’ve become even more
Restless and impudent..
And as the world spins
Gently out of control
Tomorrow these things
Will have to take their toll..
But tonight I have the power
Y’all hail me king
Until I am sober
The world is mine for the taking!

I come to her house
She said It’s her birthday
But there’s no one else
I guess I’d eat anyway..
I start with the strawberry
Soft, red and tempting
So sweet as it touched my lips
That I gobbled up the whole thing..
Then I turned to see
Two melons lay loose
So firm and juicy
I relished them like booze..
I asked her for a drink
She offered me instead
Some warm and creamy milk
And I gleefully indulged..
Of course she gave me her cake
One with a cute slice
It was too much for me to take
Her very tasty and creamy pie..
Then I went for the clincher
That little cherry on top
To satisfy me and also her
Just ripe for me to pop..

Lovely young girl
so sweet and innocent
you brighten up my world
to me you're heaven sent..
The face of an angel
the body of a goddess
you speak with great fervour
you move with such gracefulness..
But those beautiful eyes
don't even look my way
and your tender lips
never utter my name..
You don't know I exist
but I adore you
now I'm tired of this
will you and me ever come true?
Every little thing
that you are is magic
but this unrequited
love is tragic..
Why can't I break my silence
let alone this barrier?
can I only look at you and just
dream on forever?
