Curiosity

Curiosity killed the cat, well that makes sense. I know the guy, practically my best friend. Well, let me tell you how curiosity saved my life. Maybe curiosity taught me how to love. In which I might have never thought to love, but was going to love in the long run anyway. Curiosity showed me another world I mean curiosity’s kinda fun. Curiosity showed me new friends who taught me to run in the rain, but curiosity met them and they left me. To sit in the rain while people stare not in curiosity, but instead with despair for that girl who was once running in the rain and now only sits there not sure which are tears and which is rain. But curiosity showed me family. Not the ones who have the same blood running in their veins as mine but ones who knew my story and could relate and have not yet to stab me in the back. You know curiosity taught me to tell the truth. But curiosity kicked my butt. Made me a down right selfish person. Made me take sides, blind-eyed, heartless, and cruel. But curiosity made me reflect on the being I was made. Love, laugh, and be. Be me and sweet and free. Curiosity told me to search in my depths and be the being in which I was created. Curiosity showed me beauty and the being I could be. Curiosity is me. And yes I don’t like cats.

Her Poem

Her smile
Her eyes
Her lips
Her dimples
Her checks
Her voice
Smooth and chic
The words off her lips fall smoothly for me to hear
Lay press upon my ear
Her insecurities
Her wall made of bricks and cement dried I picked and chiseled
Softly places brick on floor
One by one
Revealing
Her body
Her tongue
Taste sweet to the ear
Yet foul to the feelings
As she swears
Her breath
Makes me breathe
I could fill her dimples with water and float and in the crevices
Share secrets with me
As Andrea said so “I can live the spaces between your teeth and purge myself lean.”
“You drive me crazy. I mean insanely.”
When you don’t text me back my heart skips a beat
Yet not the same way as when you call me
If my heart could glow pink
It would like my face when you call me youngin’
Well darlin’ I’m only as young as you make me
I mean
Spiritually
You make me giggle like a girl
Your smile
Your eyes
Your lips
Your dimples
Your checks
Your voice
Smooth and chic

Forget You

Forget the girl who treats me lesser. Yes I hate you. I am just as smart as you are, but you can never treat me the same way you treat the rest of your equals. Forget the skinny chick who wears no clothes. Darling trust me I look better. Keep your clothes on it’s a more appealing site. You want to have a body competition we can do this and I promise it will be a blow out. Forget the guy who calls me ugly. Baby boy I look better than your girl. And tell your girl no I’m not hating, I’m just being gay. And I’m not saying I date ugly girls but her, she’s about an 8. Forget the person who doesn't want me here. I’m here and not going anywhere. Just to let you know, I might as well try to show out, just despite you. Forget anyone and everyone who thinks badly of me. ‘Cause baby, darlin’, dear, and doll, I am me. And I’m not changing for the lights of you. Maybe if the grass glows blue or when my face starts to look like you. Then I’ll change me, until then. Here I am.
