Gone

Gone
Away
Not my love
Not possible
Not even a chance
Now the flame has gone out
The distance has been covered
With not so much as a warning
I watched my dreams burn up in to ash
And I know I’ll never be whole again

My Clock Struck Midnight In Autumns Court.

The Darkness fills me
illuminates fingertips
my eyes turn jet black
our dark hearts shatter like glass
your skin is cold blue
once vibrant soul matches suit
paralized with fear
we dance on our graves
holding sober hands
childrens laughter fills my head
flashing dark crimson and white
the grounds set for our last stand
our features are blank
as our last breath expires
embrace and explode

I Brush My Teeth With Chaos

I brush my teeth with chaos
In this world I think you have to
In your eyes I'm a madman
My rhetoric is dynamite
the fuze I light is dental floss

I'm dramatic baby
In this world I think you have to be
I'm a ghost, a thought, a silent click
floating on the edge of tangable

You smile
to hide your fear
but your teeth are tarnished black
have some of my toothpaste

Grow Up To Sleep In Our Parents Beds

Faceless dolls
Ballerinas dance on beds of erect nails
giggling as they cover the bed
in sheets of red
the children watch
wish
wait and dream
to grow out of youth
embrace the numb that comes with wisdom
dance the dance of vague maids
who wear red shoes and perfect braids

Big City Backdrop

It’s a big city backdrop and I’m
Buzzing like a burnt out light
Hidden away in this studio again
Fall asleep waiting up for you
But the doorknob sits unturned
And like a match I’m beginning to feel burned.

Color me the Color of your heart
And I’ll fade into the shadows of the ruined streets below

So tell me Sweetheart
When was it that this peaceful dream
Turned into a nightmare
Sirens and gunshots still wake me up as
Frequent as your memories
They cut through my dreams

Color me the Color of your heart
And I’ll fade into the shadows of the ruined streets below
Color me the Color of your heart
And I’ll fade into the shadows of the ruined streets below

Will I find you in the ruined streets below?

The Matress Bares the Burden

Now your someone to fear
Fresh from you slumber
You've kidnapped your burning words
and pasted them on fluorescent pages
Tucked safely away under your matress
Should you let them rust or set them free
There freedom stings, cuts like knives
you carve them deep into doves
cage them underneath your nightmares
clip their wings again and again
Fresh From your slumber
But your choice is made
it's much more simple to bite your tounge in two
then turn on a hidden light.
