Heather Tripp Poem
Lurking in the shadows,
like a coward it hid.
Waiting for the moment,
to prey on the kid.
The time was close,
the light grew bright.
And it stepped out,
in plain view sight.
Now tears of sorrow
grace each face.
They grow cold
as they see the place,
Where death overtook,
in the blink of an eye.
The wonderful man
to young to die.
