Anticipatory

the anticipatory

Gut wrench
sweat stench
teeth clench
mind race
feet pace
white face
hands shake
wide awake
cant take!...

....my mistake its not so bad.

Grew

A tree, a branch, a crash.
A spark, a flame then ash.
of break began anew.
of ash a life then grew.
another tree with branch...
...or two.

Waiting

Sitting by this fence...
One side life commence.
to cross wait for whence
an invitation hence;
sitting by this fence...

Discovery

"Come along and see new things!"
      said myself to I.
"Great, grand and wondrous things"
"we'd really ought to go and see!"
"adventurous he, that I should be."
       wis'pered myself to silent me.
adventurous?... No! I will not be!
for I is very shy said me.
and so I sat and asked myself
      to consider taking me

Eyes

Though cold and dark, they are submitted
To where winds of fate are omitted
this lonely pair remains committed

mortal life?
a prison!

Death?
...a window given

Where Have They Gone

Where has it gone?
It's not inside my head.
It is now a ways away
Where sunshine stays and there's
n'er a fear
A place I made inside my head
A place that in its nascency my
mind just had to steal
Eloped did they, those self-enslaved
mind and grand idea
And now I have my mind not
Nor my grand idea
They have runaway

Looking Back

Looking back had begat
such tattered little strings

The threads of life are filled with strife
and many knots that may displease

contemplate to make anew

another thread which will'n't undo
with all the threads that make up you

Fire

For fire, as embers sit and wait
For horses, behind the starting gate
Not poised, but writhing embers doth.
To run and burn they dearth
To burn, to burn is innate
Release the fire, free the gate
“Let me be.” I bay, “In my natural state.”

Time

A solemn tone the song will drone
When yet to have is more for some
Whether 'plauded when its done
whether over way too soon
A mystic ever changing tune

Demons of Addiction

It's only cause I love you
And because I care

I'll look back at demons
When at me you will stare

No I do not fear them
your demons are my own

I find comfort in them
Cause Without you I'm alone
