Journey

Enlightened path
Visual acuity
Whispered guidance
Faltering steps
Doubt
Serene Breeze
Second chance
Tentative touch
Confident kiss
Bold stride
Acceptance, Acknowledgement, Advance
Perfection
One

Visual Emotion

Solitude
A seagull’s cry across a beach.
Loneliness
Flowers out of arm’s reach.
Fear
A noise without a face
Frustration
A courtroom without a case.
Anger
Heat consuming fuel
Confusion
Weaponless duel.
Acceptance
You are you and I am me.
Love
Two become one,
One is now we

Secret Sorrow

I’m Empty
How sad. An epitaph upon a stone. It tells the world yet stands alone.
What was the purpose of a life. A jilted husband, a betrayed wife. No one will
know.
Cold rock and empty space. A silent tomb, a silent place.
The hollow echo that mocks the heart.
Who broke a promise. What price was paid.
To cause a soul in sorrow laid.
A bed of grief.
Dust will gather. Moss will grow.
Years will turn and people go.
Forever will we guess.
