Is It Justice Or Injustice

If i allow a mother to steal food, in order to feed her babies. Does that make me
an angel or criminal? How do we as people not take responsibilty to change our
own destiny?
For justice is the right of everyone!

If i don't take the time to teach this mother to stand, to be self reliant, to have faith,
to face her fears. If i don't teach her compassion and self respect. Does that
make me part of the problem or the solution?
For any injustice hurts everyone!

If i don't register to vote because i believe the system is broke. How then can i sit
on this mother's jury, with 11 others to deceide if she committed a crime?
For justice is the right of everyone!

If i allow the truth to be silenced by her economics or her up bringing. Am I giving
her an excuse to keep on?
For any injustice hurts everyone!

If i check hispanic as my race because my other choices demand that i deny my
mother. Does that mean that i disrespect my own people?Does that mean i don't
believer in Dr. King's dream?
For justice is the right of everyone!

If i allow the disrespect of another's faith, from one coming of my own. Does that
mean I have no faith in my own beliefs?
For any injustice hurts everyone!

If i adopt a child from a a foreign country. Does that make me heartless to the
needs of the here?
For justice is the right of everyone!

If am a solider supporting my family and I must go to war. Does that mean I
support the reasons behind the war?
For any injustice hurts everyone!

If am a hard working law abiding citixen . Does that mean that it is none of my
concern how the system punishes criminals of differnt races?
For justice is the right of everyone!

If my child is on life support and my insurance won't cover no more treatment .
Who then has the right to deceide if my child lives or dies?
For any injustice hurts everyone!

If i justify my wrong doings with excuses of what was done to me and my people.
Will you tell me what that makes me?
For justice is the right of everyone!

Justice is everyone's freedom to think, feel, love, have no limits in what one can
do. Justice is to receive the respect of everyone. Not to be judged for sex, race or
faith. To have equal opportunities for you and I!
To quote Dr. King's words, " Injustice anywhere threatens justice everywhere!"
end quote.
For any injustice hurts everyone!

What the Fuss!!!!

Excuse me, Excuse me, Mister Webster,It's my pleasure sir, so may I please
have a moment of your time?
See sir, Our teacher has asked us to define.
So out comes your book, holding the pen on the line.
I opened to section D and looked up Diversity, was stunned from what it read on
page 393.With bold black letters you stated:
It is different, not the same, just unlike.
How simple it seemed.
Not putting any emphasis on how it affects the brain, causing such a fuss.
Starting with: age, gender, race, religion, economics, and where you living.
It's your very being and for some it owns their hearts and minds.
Diversity describes how each of us begins our very lives.
Remember it took two to create me and you.
It defines the value of all life and what we understand of our own sigficance.
Whether you are Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Muslim or Jew.
The very same thing that makes you different makes you the same.
That there is a universal divine, who established a moral code.
For you to determine what's wrong or right, while in the same group no one sees
anything the same.

Since we are talking about the inner self.
Did you even bother to look at what the statistics said for 2004?
That the ages of the convicted for hate crimes range from 11 to 65.
And the victims range from 4 months to 74.
That in L.A. alone from 1994 to 95, 1,459 hate crimes were committed and only
5% were members of a hate group.
How in 1990 all sophomores classes were made up of 3.9%Asian, 10.1%
Hispanic, 12.5% Black, 1.2% American Indian and 72.3% White, while uniting
them for their goal of their human revolution.
That by the year 2056 the average United States resident will list their ancestry as
African, Asian, Hispanic, or Arabic but not White European.
How we have to have Statistics to count our very differences..
Diversity creates laws to keep us from making a Fuss.

So Mr. Webster, Can you help explain, How people are judged for who they love,
who they are, what money they have or how the same people may agree on the
same thought , action or word,While each arriving to that conclusion from our
own crayon box.Mixing colors and brands.
Creating Mona Lisa's and Van Gogh, inspiring Michael Angelo's, while allowing
Robert Frost to express his very thoughts.
But most of all Can you explain, How something so simple could effect who we
are and What that really means?

The Little Things

The mist of the morning dew,
The softness of a rose pedal,
The golden sand between your toes,
The breath of fresh air one inhales on a snow cap mountain.

The sounds of seagulls gliding upon the ocean waves,
The rainbow after a sun shower,
The clouds of the midnight moon,
The twinkle of a falling star,
The oasis one finds in the desert.

Are just some on the little things I love about ya!

Certificate of Authenticity

This is to all my sisters,
Who are in the market for a Grand Marqui.
Please make sure to ask the jeweler for a certificate of authenticity.
See i knew this jeweler who's work was well known
Many admired his work without having work done.
His cuts were made with precision
his angles were made with perfection
and he captured every spectrum of light
But see this was no diamond in the ruff just a cubic zirconia
for half price.

Homeless

Homeless Me Never!!!
I am not the bag lady you see down the street.
I am not the addict who beggs for cash.
I am not the window washer you see when you get gas.
I am not the one at the end of the freeway,
"Who says i work for food."
I am not the one who lies and cheats.
I am not the one doesn't care.
I am not the one that you watch as i walk by.
Me, Homeless Never BE!!!!!
I pay my bills and take a bath.
I work my nine to five to make my cash.
But when i wake up everyday, I am the mother with no where to stay.
So i thought that it would never be me.
I guess am homeless can't you see!!!
So next time you see a bum or a bag lady walk your way.
Please give them a smile and a very good day.
Because it could be you one day!!!!!

The Moment of Love

If I could describe how much I love you in a moment of time,
It would be at the dawn of day or dust of night
When the sun touches the water.

The Pen

Everyday I fill the ink of my pen with thoughts
I placing the pen on the paper,
I write the words on the line,
Verbs and Nouns express the mind,
But some reason its just not quite right,
Sometimes its for the spellings,
others for the sound,
But most the time its the thought itself, I cross out.
Starting all over again, A poet with an invisible pen!

Question

If the soul is reflexed in the mirrors of one's eyes,
then what is refexed in the eyes
when one looks in the mirror?

If one's action speaks louder than words,
then how loud are the words one speaks
when the action is one of silence?

If the thoughts of the mind control the heart,
then what thoughts control the heart
when the mind is left to ponder?

Are you so into yourself,
that you can't see the truth?
So blinded by your own light, that the dark surrounds and comforts you.
Sadness fills my heart each day.
You are like a vulture that picks at my eyes and eats my decay.
My life seems to be slipping into an abyss.
And yet you fail to throw me a line so I can exist.
Thoughts of being your equal don't even run thur my mind.
You are so lost into you that Now I feel like I have lost m

Lost In Thought

The blackness grow within my soul.
The pain just continues to try and hide but no where to go.
Happiness is no where to be found.
Blinded by rage and fury.
My heart harden by every moment.
I keep searching in hopes that the end is near.
Is there light at the end of this tunnel or an illusion of someone else dreams.
Does the pot of gold exists or is it yet another dream?
Can happiness learn to coincide with the demons that are in my very soul or is
this all just the means for me to let go?
