Love

The sun makes me feel warm.
Twirling flags makes me feel dedicated.
Writing makes my mind wonder.
Drawing makes me feel free.
Getting a good grade makes me feel accomplished.
Being a mentor makes me feel important.
Spinning sabres makes me feel nervous, in a good way.
Food makes me feel happy.
Field shows make me feel like the center of attention.
Listening to music takes my mind off of things.
Holding hands makes me feel wanted.
Drinking tea makes me feel relaxed.
Reading poetry makes me feel inspired.
Taking pictures makes me feel creative.
Reading a good book makes me feel captivated.
Hugs make me feel safe.
Rainbows give me hope.
Being with friends makes me feel silly.
Rain makes me feel concentrated.
Christmas makes me feel like a little kid again.
Being around family makes me feel loved.
Sitting by a fire makes me feel calm.
Doing my hair and makeup makes me feel pretty.
Helping someone makes me feel appreciated.
Halloween makes me feel unique.
Fireworks makes me feel fascinated.
When people tell me their secrets, I feel trusted.
Roller Coasters give me butterflies.
Looking at how much I have overcome makes me feel strong.
Seeing someone smile makes me smile.
Thinking about all that I have makes me feel blessed.

But isn’t it amazing how one person can make you feel all of this at one time?

Normal Boy

A normal, average boy who loves math and science,
Soon to be fighting with evil and defiance.
Is in love with a girl he's know for years,
The death of his uncle brought him to tears.

He found his dad's glasses and wore them all day,
The thread of happiness he had, began to fray.
With an interest for spiders, he went to an arachnid museum,
Just so he could go see them.

But do more than see is what that spider did,
It crawled down from it's spider web.
He went home and did not know all night,
Until he woke up the next morning with a radioactive spider bite.

He was as fast as a cheetah, with ears like a bat,
Was smarter than Einstein, with senses like a cat.
With a mind so strong, he created his own web,
With a body so impetuous, as dangerous as lead.

He got his girl, they fell in love,
He saves people everyday, from heights high and above.
When it comes to the safety of the public, he's never tried harder,
After all, cut him some slack, he's only a normal boy named Peter Parker.

My Book

Oh book, I love you, there's so many stories you can tell,
There's no doubt about it, your author wrote you well.
You fill my head with such adventure,
Reading you is surely my pleasure.

With every page, there's something exciting and new,
I have found myself stuck to you like glue.
No matter what the genre, you're always great,
Your movie is coming out soon, I can hardly wait.

Even if you have a soft or a hard back,
When I go somewhere, you are always the first thing I pack.
Rainy, sunny, or snowy, I will read you in any weather,
Whoever wrote you had the greatest mind ever!

Oh book, I love you, you fill my heart with misery and fun,
Your vibrant colored cover shines like the sun.
You tell stories of deserts and dangerous seas,
Even though you are only ink on paper, you mean everything to me.

Fire

"When I'm with him,
his love engulfs all of the anger and depression inside of me
and smothers it out like a flame,
but when he's gone,
it adds fuel to the fire,
and it burns again."

Depression

When you are numb and in pain at the same time...
When nothing, yet everything is wrong at the same time...
When just breathing hurts...
When sleep is the only time you escape...
When you can't resist it but you can't stand it...
When the tiniest things send you off...
When the smallest things become big accomplishments...
When you're constantly pushed away...
When you can't trust anybody...
When you're misunderstood...
When you stop caring about everything...
When you feel like everything is slowly fading away from your control...

You are a FIGHTER.
You are STRONGER than what is scaring you.
You are BETTER than you will ever know.

Silence

"It's like screaming underwater...
your lungs are about to burst,
but still, no one can hear you."
