Golf Day

I love the thrill of playing golf
Especially when it's my turn to tee off
The excitement grows as I put my putter in my hand
Not knowing how far or where the ball will land
I take my driver and I drive it home
But when I get to the hole the ball is gone
Did it end up in the water or a sand trap
Man this game is turning into crap
I yell for my caddie but he's no where around
He's in the golf cart sleeping real sound
So off to the clubhouse I go to think
But while I'm there I have myself a drink
After a glass or two of wine
I feel real good and I say the 18th hole is mine
I go back out on the green and I yell fore
But when it's over I've never seen such a bad score
I tell myself this game really sucks
So I turn in my clubs and went to play putt putt

I Love

I love to smell rain when it's on the way
And I love bright sunny days
I love to feel the wind blowing my hair
And I love going to the county fair
I love to watch the stars twinkle at night
And I love colors that are bright
I love to watch children at play
And I love the smell of fresh hay
I love to walk along the strand
And I love to feel the cool sand
I love to hear birds when they sing
And I love the flowers in the spring
I love to see snow when it falls down
And I love to hear the ocean sound
I love all these things yes it's true
But most of all I love you

You Are

You are my joy and my pain
You are my sunshine and my rain
You are my ups and my downs
You are my smiles and my frowns
You are my laughter and my tears
You are my hopes and my fears
You are my enemy and my friend
You are my begining and my end
You are my hands and my feet
And without you my life would be incomplete
