A Cowboys Tears

A COWBOYS TEARS.

A cowboys hat is worn with pride his buckle with pride.
Took a big wall of blood sweat an pain to get this far
Pain from a broken ride long forgotten but fresh in his mind
And the tears he cries for the one he left behind
The lonely road he travels alone chasing the dream and competing to be rodeos number one.

Rodeos of glory an hardship were tuff is the only way
Friends an fans respecting god an asking for safety
When he prays for the ride he makes tonight it could
Make or break him it's all on the line dreams as a child
Of being a cowboy all rest on his shoulders .

His spirt thrives for the rush of the ride never willing to stop
Wanting to go to the finals an see his name on top hang on
Tight an make the ride cowboy up just like your hero lane frost.

           Sincerely Tim kegley

Be Strong As a Rock In Hard Times

Sometimes life is tuff get back up an kick it down
It will spin you around never knowing when you'll hit the ground
Here I stand alone thought I had friends but nun as I look around
Just me myself an I like a rock I shall be bold no edges that can fold
I new this would happen but why is it so hard to be alone
Please help me lord I can't do this on my own

Sometimes I crawl sometimes I fall always with my back towards the wall
Mom how I miss you tears of pain we all shed with loss doesn't gain
I love you my father pleas take this pain that as tonight I lay down my head
To go to bed tomorrow will approach with a better day with smiles an feelings
Like you just ask god the other day

Thanks sincerely Tim

Easter

Easter is for bunnies and colorful eggs
Were kids have the most fun finding them
Each year it's different time for sun filled baskets
Were a child's smile lights up your day
Reminds you of being a kid
When your mom an dad were in your shoes
Funny how life goes by so fast looking back
The good ol days where no worries involved
To a much simpler time an place were sant filled you stockings
An the tooth fairy would slip a dollar underneath your pillow
Makes me think I wish I never grew up

My Girlfriend

She is funny every each an everyday
So sweet in each an every way
So pretty when she wakes each day
She's a hot mess
An the way she loves to love is amazing
The way she gets in her car an it puts down the road is hilarious
But with her sweetness keeps me strong without her I couldn't do it on my own
She is the arm that rocks me to sleep a shoulder when I'm sad
Always happy loving always feeling of happy never giving me bad

 Sincerely Tim

Cowboy

He rests when he knows his work is completed
Tuff an tears is what made him
Thru pride he shows no weakness
His feelings are hid we'll inside
Where strong ness is the measure of a man
He wears his hat for the pride of the west
By the look of him he is tuff as nails
Never willing to settle down or settle for second best
He is the last of his bread the last of the west he will be long forgotten such as the rest

A Rush of Spring

Morning of bountiful blessing the cold has risen from the earth
A warmness has set among us letting us no of it's beauty
As the sun rises this morn I here birds talking outside my window
As the sun creeps upon my face this time of year is such a such a better place
Love that shout be in the air never to leave bringing a smile upon my face
The animals look as if their happy the harsh winter is off by a presence of peaceful an grace
Crickets chirp as the bull frogs follow along as morning approaches an the wild horses
Run free an wild

This evening wail I rock to an fro being as one with myself I pray tomorrow to be such as a beautiful
As today with the sun upon my face an the wild as magnificent as ever were the wild horse
Is free at last an the crickets sing to me to sleep with the shout of a wipers wills in the distance
Never I felt so much serenity peace an happiness it reminds me why I'm still here on earth

Thanks sincerely Tim

Cowboy Without Love

A cowboy without love is as lonesome as a lone dove
Always dreaming an sending prayers to the man above
Long dusty hard days as the dust settles down theirs no love around
She visits his mind from time to time as the one that got away
She's goin like the wind it can turn his sunny day gray
He says in his head she'll be back one day
I love you my love till we ride agin with our houses in the wind
It shall be the bests of days kiss an holding you hers my cowboy prayer till that day

A Foolish Love Goin

Wish their was a better day so far away
Tired of this pain with it I can not gain
Feelings of hurt an pain I feel like the rain
Wish this hart would heel but it shows the way I feel
Inbound with hurt I'm dieing inside no one knows it but me
Why do bear this pain like a foul you walk out
Of my life an hart never caring no doubt
I love you I shall move on with out
Maybe better maybe not with out you is what it is
I shalt no more break you made me weak
I shall stand bold no more you carless hart will leave me cold
I'm better than that no more fret no more tears
But I really can't see how you left after all these years
So here's to goodbye to you an the hurt you caused
I found someone new I'm goin to set here an drink a few here the middle finger
An I'm thru with you
