You

Out of thin air there you stand,
Lie to us, you always can,

We look at you, you look at her,
You don’t understand how bad that hurts,

There is nothing worse than a broken heart,
When we are all together, we are so far apart,

You went out with her,
I still got my dance,

Might as well give up,
We don’t have a chance,

We gave up,
You can’t accept it,

You’re the one that said to,
You could have kept it,

Dance

Dance puts off a powerful feeling,
A feeling of floating, a feeling of gleaming,

Nothing matters when you are on that floor,
Nothing less and nothing more,

The people around you now mean nothing,
As you glide across that flooring,

The wood gives you splinters and you don’t care,
The wood somehow feels as soft as air,

You feel a sense of deliberation,
You somehow would not care,
If the audience was the whole population,

Often

Often I would look at you,
Often I would stare,

Often I would cry over you,
Often it got me nowhere,

Often I thought, why her and not me?
Often I think, why couldn’t I see?

Why?

Why do I bother?
Why do I care?

I never thought someone could bother me that bad,
I never thought I could care that much,

So why do I bother?
So why do I care?

Now I remember, I don’t!

All

What goes up must come down,
What comes around goes around,
Both genuine sayings,

What’s mine is yours,
What’s yours is mine,
Both hoped for, but false statements,

All hoped for and all forgotten,
All wished for and all gone,
All dreamed of and all ended,

You Don'T Even Know

You don't know how hard we've had it,
Don't play like your life is so bad,
You don't know what bad is yet,
You don't even know,

You only trust certain people,
How many do you think I trust?
You can't answer that,
You don't even know,

We've been hurt so bad you can't imagine,
Not physical but emotional,
I've cried so many days,
I've cried so many nights,
Don't try to say you understand,
Because you don't even know,

Sometimes

Sometimes I would stay up late, waiting for your call,
Sometimes I would get all dressed up, thinking you would notice,
Sometimes I would cry, thinking it would help,

You never called,
You did not notice,
It did not help,

Apparently sometimes got me no where,
Because you didn’t

If Only

If only you knew, what you put us through,
If only you saw through our eyes,

If only you could read what I feel,
If only you could love how we loved,
If only you knew what we know,

If only we could turn back time,
It would save us a heck of a lot of pain,
But of course if only doesn't matter anymore,
Because if only is over,
