The Doorway To Where

When we open up the door do you

anticipate the echoing reverb

Warps your perception with its rumble

Gazing upon the doorway to where

Gazing upon....

                      The doorway to where

Pulls you into its beautiful brilliance

sick recognition grips your mind slowly

Rip your eyes open to the terror

To know whats beyond the doorway to where

To know whats beyond....

                       The doorway to where

Curiosity eating away inside

just to see beyond it

An icon belonging to no one

god only knows who made it

Those who survive it are blinded

To know where it goes

is to know where is where

Men forever have tried to control it

So whenever your there

you better take care

don't get eatin alive by the doorway to where

The doorway to where

When we open up the door to you

you go where you go you don't have a say

Test fate by plunging yourself through the unknown

Stepping beyond the doorway to where

Stepping beyond....

                     The doorway to where

Shadows envelope you with a hunger

agonizing screaming falls on deaf ears

The silence that follows proves without error

Never is there beyond the doorway to where

Never is there....

                    Beyond the doorway to where

Upon your return

your body falls to the earth

mutilated beyond recognition

And now the story is told

your name is etched into stone

a warning to those who would question

As we walk away

a blank look on our faces

Theres no pity felt for your defiance

You were told not to go

still you gave up your soul

condemned forever to roam beyond the doorway to where

The doorway to where

In Love With Confusion

See lies, a broken promise.
Red skies. Your never coming back.
Forgive me, forsaken.
Can't complain, I had it coming.
Soon to be reunited.
With her body, it's my temple.
Crumbling down. Overpowering.
The simple minded other lovers.
Loaded levels of perception.
Eating off my plate of passion.
Detatched now. Help yourself,
to my unwilling donation.

Questions?

Did you see them slowly falling
through this everlasting darkness?
Screaming out their prayers in silence,
but you never answer always.
If you took the time to step in,
would the world be willing to change?
If I chose to believe your existance,
would the world consider me strange?

If I could see through
this everlasting
level of disbelief.
Would I fear the world around me?
Feel that my faith is a disease.

God where are you right now?
Can you hear me call you out in vain?
Can I be relieved of this sin,
will you show me how to live again?
