Scout To Kill a Mockingbird

Dresses, bows, make-up, this is who
I am not, don’t put me
In a dress
I’ll give you an insight of my life, I have a neighbor who
We call Boo
My brother Jem, who is older
Believes he is bolder
Atticus we call him, never dad
He never says we couldn’t, but I don’t want him to get mad
There is a boy name Dill
He comes every summer, to his aunts
He can be a bit of a pill
Together we act like mice
Sneaking around
But a price
We have to pay
To see another day

Tom Robinson To Kill a Mockingbird

I am what everyone is afraid of
What did I do? I am only a black
There is only a little bit of us
We stick together like a pack
I was the man who was accused
Just to amuse
“Come here boy”
Treat us like toys
Use us, then abuse us, a life's circle
We end up dead
And look who cares
It’s not you
Anyone care, out there?

Jem To Kill a Mockingbird

No, sir Atticus
I am not leaving
I am not like a beaver, who runs and hides
In the sight of danger
Who am I, you may ask
A boy who is older, and so much bolder
I will stick by your side Atticus
Sitting in that court room
Everything came to me in a rush
And boom
He is crushed
Why Dad, can they do that
I’m so mad
Now I see how people treat people
Dog eat dog around here
I can’t bear it

I'M Giving Up

You don’t know how much you were
I look at you, and see who you are
I ask and you turn around
	You treat me like dust
		I’M GIVING UP

	You forgot me
	Left me in the dust
	Allies filled with Rapiers
	Trashed me in pits
		I’M GIVING UP

	I tried to be
	I wanted to be
	I needed to be
	YOU BUT
		I’M GIVING UP

	Hate me
	Lie to me
	Abuse me
	Stone me
	My life is worth nothing
		I’M GIVING UP

	I see how you act
Take all your stuff, and throw it away
	I don’t need you
I don’t need you at all

	I DON’T NEED YOU
			So...

I’m giving up. No need to help me
	GIVE UP
Death is the only way out of this
	Leave me alone
I hate you, you know I hate you
I hate you, So go away

	LEAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mayella To Kill a Mockingbird

Here I am
Sitting, lying
Everyone is buying it
Yet I know who you really are
Heads up to bars
Gets drunk, come home
Then abuse me
I am the key to your heart
Or am I really?
Don’t be silly, you better watch your back
I hate you,
I hate what you make me do
That is your cue
JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

Arthur Radley To Kill a Mockingbird

Say whatever you want about me
You have the right
you never see me
But you should not just judge by what you hear
People can bear
You with the wrong fact about who I am
Looks like you don’t care
Just go with the flow
I tell you, that when you least
Think, you will see
Keep an open mind
Be kind
I am here, and will be still

Hi

Hi mom
Hi dad
It’s been a year now
I love you
Where did you go?
You haven’t written back
I am gonna to tell ya that I am 6 years old now
My Grammy tells me that you are in a safe place
Where is that safe place, I want to go
Why haven’t you written back?
Oh daddy, I rode my bike, I fell, but it felt like you were there to tell me to be
strong, get back on
Mommy, I touch a burner today, I called for you. You never came
I sat in the rocker in my room, and watched for you
You never showed
How come?
Don’t you love me?
Am I really not that important to ya?
Why didn’t you take me with ya?
How long shall I wait?
I cry every night, for ya guys
I watch my friends with their mommy, and daddy
But don’t worry for me
I will be the best person, to show you that I really was worth it
I love you
I pray for ya guys every night
This is the best I can do
So I will wait for your letter

Attics To Kill a Mockingbird

He is not guilty,
But someone in here is
I have two kids
Sometimes acts like pigs
No violence
I love my kids, don’t touch them
Thanks for the hem
On Jem’s pants
One shot, on the spot
Never did in years, never will
As long as my kids are not around and Dill

A Book

As one of your life’s books closes,
another one opens. Ready to be written by you,
and your husband. Until now, you were the only one writing,
now you have a special person to help you.
Keep your husband involved with this little book of yours.
As you write together,
you will grow both spiritually and mentally.

Sin Will Bring You Down

You lied to me
You acted like I was the only other person
Come to find out, there are more
How can I trust you, Why did I trust you
you let me trust you
I asked you “do you do this to anyone else?”
“No, just you.”
You told me that, you flat out lied to me
How could you?
I always had a gut feeling, someone else was involved
Made me feel I was the only one you were “hurting”
I thought you were different
Turns out that you’re not
Looks like you betrayed everyone
Letting everyone believe one thing
But really you weren’t that person
To tell you the truth, I really don’t care that you “hurt” me
But you “hurt” two other
Now guess what, you have to pay
I don’t want this for you
Even though so many people do
So many question, so many
But you will pull through
I have faith in you
I believe you can
Don’t prove me wrong, again
Prove that satan will not tear you to pieces
