Expressing Love

Love is about forgiving
when you really would like to hate.
Love is about letting go
When that seems like embarking on an entirely new day.
Love is about searching
When coldness is all that you see.
Love is about praying one day
Situations will change so each many discover their destiny.
Love is about accepting faults
without complaint.
Love is about giving each other encouragement
Even when emptiness remains.
Just wanted to take a second to express thoughts of love to you.

Through My Eyes

I think one pioneer said it best
in an unfair world
few can survive any tests
there are a small amount that actually sleep
many that sometime weep
a promise to tell, they never keep
my ancestors sang
no missing ring
now my heart strings at which you pull
now you think it is cool to not be full
what happened to just being self
in a world where
on the cover of a magazine
could mean
a distracted dream?
thought to ponder....

Ecstasy

The bathroom glistened with the smell of pear glaze
how tired was I after a long seven hour ride to the panhandle
I leaned back and sunk into the victoria'secret hidden tub
How he could hardly wait for me
as I
got out and grabbed my towel
soaking wet, glistening,
He grabbed the towel and chased me to the bed.
We laid down and within seconds
his clothes hit the floor
Each thrust proved to me that he wanted me more
and more.
We rocked back and forth until I climaxed.
Then we talked about how life could be if we both believed in fate.
How fate can tell you the name of someone who could grow
to love you so much that even in hatred they try to motivate you to excel.
So with this I leave a closed chapter in my life..
had he believed in hardship, we could of endured
but one-sided love and lost expectations lead to further disappointments
in life however I still remain content
with my memories of ecstasy.

Reality

So long ago
the world was an oyster
To my hand.
Obtaining my lifelong dreams
were the infinite plan.
At times it feels like I stand on quicksand
However the sad truth is this is called reality.

Staring people in cold distant eyes
Few are warm and inviting
Still I hold on
waiting on my true angel,
true love to arrive.

What I do I can not complain
At times my own ways, drive me insane
So how can I expect another to maintain
A level of faithfulness
When the thought has been always to not make him my main.

The million dollar question is
Why do I repeat the same repetitive actions
Receiving the same results
Disappointed when true love does not appear
Disillusioned that trust can actually reappear
Self is who has to earn my own trust
Before I can give to another
Really before i should make him my lover
Until then I sit there waiting in my own reality.
