"With Angels Wings"
The whispering winds, a song they sing
A song of sorrow and of a heart so big
Your love reaches as far as the eye can see
I believe in dreams because in my heart, you beat
Just as a gentle breeze shimmers every leaf
Your love, in every heart, plants a seed
Elegance, love and hope is what grows beneath
And this is your gift to us....
For safe keeping.
So...if you ever wonder why heaven sings
It's because now you fly...

"Tattered Wings"
Early morning, the horizon's on fire/burning last night's barstool desires/moments in time going up in smoke/so much so when I breathe it, I choke/fire in the sky I need it, I know/without it I'm cold/without it I'm froze/can't run from the devil, if I'm stuck in the ice/fingers of the devil creepin up through my spine/paralyzing fright/terrorizing mind/prepared to breathe fire to keep me alive/fire breathing dragon when day turns to night/fill my flask with angels and demons alike/everyday is a fight/battered and bruised/feeling tattered and used/but when compassion I choose/feel like I could flatter a muse/and when the siren she sings/"come with me, I'll calm the burn when it stings"/I say "I appreciate what you sing,/but I beat the devil, with broken and tattered wings."

(Beep, Beep)
Incessant beeping day and night, keeping pace with my heart beating. My Eyes I try to shut but can't seem to keep my mind from sleeping.
(Beep, beep)
People come and go but friends no longer show.
(Beep, Beep)
Its the ebb and flow of where I am and how long I've been breathing. Some friends didn't have as many breaths as I.
(Beep, Beep)
Some find them harder to take than mine. Some cant find the means or time to see if my breathing is keeping pace with my mind.
(Beep, Beep)
Trapped inside a place where gold is disguised as time and diamonds are made from love filled smiles and hide inside my loved ones eyes.
(Beep, Beep)
Hoping they know the gold they give is worth more than a two hundred trillion dimes. I'm past the point of speaking but if I could speak just one more time.
(Beep, Beep)
I'd tell them to watch for chameleons
(Beep, Beep)
because chameleons lie
(Beep, Beep)
and when you're at where Im at,
(Beep, Beep)
in this place and time,
(Beep, Beep)
the only thing that matters
(Beep, Beep)
is seeing all the diamonds……
(Beep, Beep)
in your loved ones
(Beep, Beep)
eyes.

Know how her eyes are ocean blue,
Aroma of ocean mist,
Supple lips I often suffer to
Subtle waves of emotion
You crave the with holding
Everything in your sea,
Not drowning you see,
Go figure you'll be
Ecstatic to see
Laughter in an ocean breeze.
Don't be scared of deceit
I'll tame the waters beneath
No regret for the peace,
Got to cherish my plea,
Everything that you want
Remember I've got it..... believe.

Words sometimes slip off of my tongue/
sometimes I trip and get stung/
never the same mistake, I only make 'em once/
I make a lot so I have scars from the cuts/
look at the stars when I walk with a limp and a crutch/
looking for answers between bars the I've shut/
the mind can be a penitentiary when it lusts/
now I clutch the bars and they crumble to dust/
sometimes it's still hard to breathe when I'm rushed/
take a step back catch my breath, it's a must/
I'm fiending the rush/
still dreaming, no luck/
you get what you give, so it's only me I can trust/
that causes problems with the people you love/
they'll come around when they get to the whys and the whats/
that's why when I speak I always say it's much love/
so to all my people, I'm feeling the love and it's always gonna be.....much love

While It Lasts
When shadows from the setting sun blanket the grass
Keeping warm every moment we've had
Staring at stars or sharing a kiss between bars
Remember every moment while it lasts
Like Hank driving down a lost highway
We got spun turned to dust trying to do things my way
Shining smiles in the sun
A siren singing songs of the past
Remember every song while it lasts
As I flick ash off my cigarette
And smoke rolls off the tip
I think the road goes wherever you want to get
Street signs calling as we pass
Remember no road is the last
Remember every moment while it lasts
We fight fire with gasoline
Not every fire is what it seems
Remember no road is the last
And remember every moment....
