He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

My favorite flower, I'm sure we all must have one Grows wild in fields beneath the sun Symbolizes innocence and youth Colors of white and yellow shining truth Many an hour I would bear Making chains around my neck I would wear The nicest place on the side of a hill Water below the quaking of ducks I hear them still Lying back with my friends getting lazy Amongst my favorite flower the daisy.

Friend

My friend so far away It is not a concern For you are in my heart everyday I am so aware that each time a thought of me enters your mind They are thoughts so loving and simply kind I need your caring and positive mind To ward off the narcissists with hate in their hearts, walking the earth blind Rude being their one and only attitude I hope that you know you are but special to me How fortunate are we?

Cosmic Blue

Shining gold on mellow blue Melting mass aglow for you Floating, rolling feel the heat Melting down the frozen sheet Big and round, the ants do crawl Blues and browns surround the ball Sparkle, shining through the space White on black do they lace Deep inside the rolling mass Fires of Hell on slicks of oil Steaming moats beneath the soil Truly impossible we say to you Living within the Cosmic Blue

This Heaven

Shining brook glides over smooth rock, Sun shines and sparkles appear I am me and the wilderness is we so show no fear Towering trees above our heads shelter us from the tearful sky Days go on weeks pass by Such beauty and splendor do I feel high Golden green grass on the country side, smell of fresh morning dew surrounds my mind Warmth and happiness in this I find God's creatures great and small vanish as the sun does fall Glowing luminous man in the moon Show us the way be it too soon Leaving this heaven only to return to the city But my mind so clear will forever remember you, oh so pretty~~~~~~~~

Sweet Thing

Eyes of ice blue stare back at you Hypnotized there was nothing I could do Knowing you for such a short time This Cherokee has a piece of this heart of mine Spending the day together fading into night Somehow with you things seemed alright Lying close our bodies warm as we unwind The sweet feeling of marijuana flows through the mind In the silent darkness we dine Tasting the fruits of each others wine Trying to satisfy the unquenchable thirst Wondering who would stop first~~~

Lessons

I tried to drown my sorrows, but they learned to swim. Which taught me you can't run, you can't hide from our less than perfect side. Even though the dog paddle is all you know. Try hard to swallow your pride. Because sorrow is along for the ride. Sorrow teaches us to realize and appreciate the times that don't bring tears to our eyes~~Blessings Catfish 3/17/2014

Trials and Tribulations

Oh woman, Oh warrior Of where does your strength come Years of life and living Experiences are where it's from Within my wings the wisdom does live My ancestors, spirit guides, family My wings lift me, never failing to give Providing for me the power to rise above Trials and tribulations I fear not on my path through life For within the wings that carry me is Love~~~~

Window Pain

Soft as rays of light Shadows shine between our minds Exposing only truths Mellow moods surround the room As darkness takes over the light Sitting silently together our bodies on the floor My thoughts entwined with yours As we begin the flight Searching we find a window Us together on one side The darkness, glowing and sky pouring on the other One world, each side is different Ours calm and content The other crying with rain and thunder Our atmosphere lit only by a solitary candle At long last we speak The search is over our minds touch We share now the wonder of the pouring skies As the sky melted and shed to cleanse and enlighten We melt together shedding light to each other For we are not alone We found each other Beyond the window~~~~~~~~

Missing

I woke up today, a feeling overcame the thoughts of my mind There is something missing, something I can't find It's been gone for quite some time I look around me, appears that everything is there, everything is fine But something is missing I go searching, frantic, looking to the corners of my mind I must find, I must find There is something missing I look to other people to help me find Only to be beaten, stripped and left blind I woke up today, a feeling overcame the thoughts of my mind I know what's missing, I know what I need to find My truth, My faith, My dreams, My conviction Myself, I miss me

Rain

Water running down my window Tiny droplets sliding slow Clear colors of the rainbow Held within each drop Not knowing when it comes or when it stops Cleanse the earth water flowing Grass and flowers, watch them growing When it stops there shall appear A kaleidoscope of colors for the earth to share
