Katie Racette Poem
When they found you it was too late
Standing there they saw a twist of fate
The days to follow so somber
Gave everyone something to ponder
Your pain was too much to bear
Thinking life was so unfair
A loving soul crushed so young
The hearts of your family forever stung
A baby now without a father
Her life a story with only one author

Katie Racette Poem
You sabotage her days in every-way.
A new false hope every day.
She hoped you would change.
Everything she sees you do is strange.
This child looks up to you.
Cant tell if what you say is true.
You got in-trouble with the law.
Left a child without a flaw.
The officers tried to explain.
All she experienced was pain.
Broken hinges in her mind.
Searching for something she cant find.

Katie Racette Poem
I wish I could turn back the
clock
To the stories you told as we'd
rock
I loved the afternoons with you
It was always something new
A grandfather so amazing to
care
A shoulder so strong and
always there
Your life is something I admire
Your determination burned like
hells fire
Through your pain you held
strong
Always taught right from wrong
I still remember the call
Just from the shock of it all
There were so many things left
unsaid
From the day you left us from
your bed
I've been searching far an wide
I know I'll see you on the other
side
