Magpie Wench Poem
Oh Splendid City bathed in moon's clear light
From cliffs afar, an opalescent sight.
My lover waits within your walls so near
To window lit my heart bids me take flight!
But leave I must and to your strength commend,
My true-love in your fastness keep from plight.
'Til I return in glory draped and then
We two in ecstasy shall reunite.
Our limbs commingled, lips conjoined in kiss,
I pledge my sweet, oh! Soon to be the night
This comely bard your senses will delight
And once again our passions to ignite.

Magpie Wench Poem
Dawn's rays break starred skies
I wake to find the bed cold
You've already gone.
I still feel your lips
Pressed hot against my shoulder
Stunned there is no mark.
Tangled hair is combed
Each knot a mark of shared lust
Gently tease them out.

Magpie Wench Poem
Stone, weathered by the ages
changing, but slowly.
Fire, burning bright and hot
dancing, beautiful but soon gone.
Stone supports the fire
Fire warms the stone.
When the fire burns out
will the stone be left scarred?
