Cecilia Holland Poem
Your whispers
evoke me like
cotton candy,
soft, innocent
and sweet ..
gentle,
beastlike notions
capture me

Cecilia Holland Poem
Falling leaves
Whistling trees
Sound of freedom
In the cool
morning breeze
Letting go
Of yesterday's sorrow
Embracing hope;
It's a new tomorrow
Looking behind
But forgetting the past
Walking forward
The last was the last
Dead things fall
Dead things lay
Dead things won't follow
Dead things stay

Cecilia Holland Poem
Of
sweet
intense
and
unchartered
pleasure
Beyond
your lips
Oh,
the hidden
treasure

Cecilia Holland Poem
the lights, the sounds
the smells; so enticing
the devils playground
where demons dwell
lurking, watching, waiting
eagerly anticipating
innocent bystanders
souls unaware
caught off guard
by the devils snare
trapped on a
merry-go-round of sin,
spinning out of control
so called fun
the devils laughing,
damage is well done
the lights, the sounds
the smells, your own personal hell.

Cecilia Holland Poem
Poised
in innocence,
Quite
the masquerade
Everyone's
a fool
Very
well played
Her boudoir
The biggest stage
'Mirror, mirror
On the wall,
Who's
the most cunning
Of them all'

Cecilia Holland Poem
With
each
passing
day
may
my
heart
sing
a
melody
of
praise
Always
thanking
you
for your
Amazing
Grace

Cecilia Holland Poem
A thousand miles apart
but close in heart,
forever, we will be!
A southern Bama Sky
gently kissed
by a New York Autumn breeze.
Infectious laughter,
forever dancing
amongst sweet maple trees.
