My Knife

Black eyes.
Black heart.
The pain hits me like a dart.
I'm lying on the floor.
I can't handle this pain anymore.
I take the blade.
I press it to my skin.
I know its a sin,
But this pain will never end.
My mind is empty.
I'm filled with misery.
I hate my life,
But I love this knife.

My Love

My love is a burning fire,
A strong desire.

It hurts and yearns,
But that's the only way to learn

There's good things too,
Like knowing my love is true.

But in my mind,
Love is a sin.

It hurts but,
I'm never giving in.

My love is good,
My love is strong.

It can't tell right from wrong.
When i fall, I fall hard.

I know its not good,
And I'd stop it if i could.

Buy still, at your heart i kneel.
I can't control how I feel.

Despair

The world is gray,
The sun won't shine a ray.

The world seems black and white,
As I listen to fight after fight.

My mind is numb.
I can't hear a thing.

Just silence.
I can feel my ears ring.

My mind is black,
Just an empty sack

Inside my head.
All I feel is dread.

My heart hurts,
Its getting worse.

I'm so tired of this ****.
I feel my heart take it after hit.

My life is a lie.
My heart has died.

My eyes are dull,
As their screams, ring in my skull....

My Heart

My heart used to be warm and soft.
But now I'm lost.
Now my heart is bitter and cold.
Your lies are getting old.
You said you loved me,
You said you cared.
I'm through being scared.
All you care about is your stupid boyfriend.
I can't wait for him to go to prison.
You'll pay for what you did.
You never cared about your kids.

(I wrote this poem for my mom last year. She is currently in prison)
