The Difference With Diabetes

Look at me, what do u see? 
Someone happy? Someone carefree. 
.But sometimes if u look closer what 
can u find? An emotional wreck with 
a poor state of mind. From the 
outside i may look healthy and 
glowing but who sees the injection 
sights, the bruising and lumps that 
are growing? My fingers are numb 
from endless blood tests, and who 
understands sometimes I just need 
to rest?. For 12 years now ive lived 
with diabetes by my side, the most 
invaluable journey and biggest 
rollercoaster ride. I've been up, ive 
been down, I've been scared and 
now im proud!! There's no stopping 
me, im ready to talk about it out loud. 
Its with me forever, always here to 
stay. so lets make a difference 
starting with today x
