God's land is a many splendor thing,
All the lily filled pastures that come in the spring.
I sit here and think, what a miracle, all this to see,
Then I look up above and god knows its me!
So if you're ever feeling down,
Take the time to look around.

If I had three wishes, I would wish each
one for you,
I would wish your life full of happiness,
I would wish away your blues.
If I were magic, I would give you all
you need,
I would take away your sorrow
that seems to make your heart bleed.
I wish I could take you in my arms
and hold you for all eternity,
But all I have to give you is the
love inside of me.

The love of my life has grown tired and gone home,
To a place I've only heard of, personally unknown.
They say this place has no sickness, no sorrow or pain,
Where things like love and friendship is not used in vane.
A place I can only dream of and long to be,
They say this place is heaven, where my husband waits for me.
They say he sits upon the clouds watching over me,
I know this place is Heaven and someday, is where I'll be.
