Hope and Lies

This is a story about my lost, dreadful life.
I wonder out of this pain what shall arise,
From the rubble of a life built on hope and lies.

Born into failure I took my first breath;
In the arms of a jail nurse,
My first look at death.
My first day of life,
Which for me would be a saga of unending strife.
An unending search for one heart to love me,
One hand to hold, one soul to touch me.
So tell me out of this pain what shall arise,
From the rubble of a life built on hope and lies.

Another dreadful day is still ahead to come, you say.
I bare to see another day;
I've got to say you're right.
When I lie down at night I'm scared to fall asleep,
I'm scared of what might happen when you're out of sight.

I'm eleven years old today, Do you want to leave you say?
I'm standing in the shadows, trying to get away from you.
My life has been terrible ever since I took my first breath.
What is it that you want me to do?
I know now what's out of this pain that shall arise,
From the rubble of a life built on hope and lies.

I've always hoped you'd never find this.
I guess you can't live your life on hope and lies right?
So if you're reading this now, I have nothing else to bare,
nothing else to fear, no one to hide from, no one to be scared of
because here I lie never less never more in the cold wet ground; rejoicing.
Now I feel no pain, torture, suffering nothing at all but happiness.
You're asking why, why not me instead of a poor, innocent little girl?
She's laying six feet under today 'cause of me.

Fingerprints

I have made these fingerprints just for you;
So when I'm grown and gone,
You'll have my fingerprints of your own.

Please cherish my fingerprints,
Love them like you love me.
When you have my fingerprints together we'll be.

When I'm gone and out of this sinful world;
You can pull my fingerprints out,
And say I will always love you without a doubt.

A Rose and Heart of Friendship

A rose and heart of friendship is like the friendship I have with you.
It's so blue we just we just don't know what to do.
How is our friendship like a rose and heart, you say?
It was complicated for me when I first found out,
Just know that you'll be my friend without a doubt.

You'll understand one day what it means one day,
But for now just be my friend please.
You're like the rose, I'm like the heart;
I know it's not a good match,
Don't worry we'll never part.

You're the rose blooming so pretty, 
All we have to do is look at you and see it's true beauty.

You are my life, my one true desire,
My love for you burns like a fire.
So tell me, what is your one true desire?

I love thee with all my heart;
From the depths of my soul,
With this love we'll never part.

You are the light to light my way;

The Way You Make Me Feel

Just a typical Saturday night,
Feeling the rest of my life was going to be nothing 'til I met you.
Your big beautiful blue eyes takes me somewhere very pleasant.

You're everything I've been looking for in a person.
Its absolutely amazing how you knock me off my feet,
I must say every time you come around I get weak.

Nobody has ever made me feel this way,
You kiss my lips and take my breath away.

I feel a deep, passionate love within me wanting to come out to you.
The way you make me feel is unexplainable.
You send chills up and down my spine.

The way you look at me makes me think you're here to stay,
Please don't make me regret this wonderful, magnificent day
That I laid my eyes on you.

No Good In Goodbye

I always knew this day would come,
The day I had to tell you goodbye.
It's killing me inside, I can't show it;
I just have to keep my head up in pride.

There's no good in goodbye,
I love you I want you to know.
Every relationship ends with a sad, painful goodbye.

You are my everything,
I love you more then I love myself.
You mean the world to me,
That's why this is killing me so.

After today will there be a tomorrow for us?
You will never be forgotten,
Only tucked away in a very special place in my heart no one can fill.

Broken Hearted

When I was a little girl,
I would always want someone to love me for me,
Not for the way I look, talk, or what I can do for them, just for me and who I am.

I would always wish that, that special someone would take my hand
and say those three little but powerful words.
I love you, will you be mine?

Now that I'm older, I've found someone that truly loves me for who I am.
We've been together for three years.
I kept hoping and hoping he would pop the question, he never did.

It's been a very long time since I've felt love like, until then I will be

I want to feel wanted
I want to feel adored
But most of all I want to feel loved.

I want to wake up knowing that I have you in my life,
I want to be your one and only,
I want to be the one you want and need.

Be With You

Friday Night I feel so alone, 
I'm sitting here thinking of your beautiful smile.
Wishing I could pass the time by quicker just to be with you.

I count the hours but they go so slow.
I can hear your voice through my soul.
I look out my window to the sky above, wishing I could feel your love.
 
Every second, of every minute, of every hour, of every day,
I want to be with you and only you.
I just see your face and all I can do is smile.

Come to me, I'm losing my mind,
Will you just give me a sign?
I just want to be with you.

I don't want to rush this, I want to take it slow.
I want to feel your love surround me like the rain.
Be with you.

I can't sleep, I'm up all night;
Thinking, wondering what life could be like if we're together.
Take my hand, take my heart, all I ask is for you not to tear it apart.

I just got to be with you somehow.
