The Promise of Dawn

The night is young
The night is long
The night is a rythnever ending song

The stars are diamonds
Infinite spots of wonder
The stars sing a tune
That is louder than thunder

The moon is exultant
Yet all it is, is white
The moon is so beautiful
An unforgettable sight

The sun has rised
The night has gone
Here come the dances of spring
The promise of dawn

Broken Pieces

The earth is still
I know what to do
The earth is filled with a chill
I lie is not true

What Is a Miracle?

The honeysuckle flowers
The strawberry cream sunsets
The endless wonders
Are they all miracles?

The eyes lost in space
The Earth round yet flat to me
The leaves fallen from weak branches
Are they all miracles too?

The dance of the milky waves of the sea
The slow motion of the fast clouds
Cloudiness on a sunny day
They all are miracles!

I believe in miracles
I will dream and dream on
Ask myself, what's a miracle?
Is it .............................................

Gone With the Music

I play the piano
Caressing the keys
As I slide my hand across
I feel this sudden ease

Like all me problems erased
My worries flown away
I'm lost in a trance
My soul is astray

I'm gone with the music
Although it will never show
LIfe is so randomly beautiful
More than you could ever know

Depression Session

The world blows life away
We are but souls astray
Then nights are cold to live
People are too selfish to give
We live about lives like birds
Popularity is just a bunch of animals in herds
We are alone in a world bigger than our heart
When there is no light, were alone in the dark
When the earth is still
Something runs up your spine that gives you a chill
When the earth is clothed with clouds
On the ground no more crowds
The world is less what I expected
Never thought I could feel so hectic
Even though the wind will blow souls today
My soul will roam the earth and never go away!!!!

What Am I?

It's seems to me that the world is new
As if I am the only one without a clue
People seem to know what they are
Yet my expectations of me lay afar
What was I thinking from the start
Thinking I was a beautiful work of art
Yet I don't know what others think of me
What am I even supposed to be?
Am I the painting or the frame?
Am I the dice or the entire game?
Am I the shore, or am I the sea?
Am I the thing that lays far from me?
Am I the dove or am I the crow?
Do I have the rythm or do I have the flow?
What am I?
Thats what worry me the most
Am I human or am I a ghost?....

Change

The broken will never heal
The innocent will start to steal
The dieing won't see the dawn
And the good will be gone
The earth is lost in time
Anything you do is considered a crime
No matter how desparate you are to seek
You'll be back drinking at the end of the week
God lives in us all
Gives us the strength to get up when we fall
You shall know that you are not a alone
know that your will is harder than stone
You'll find the truth in the ones you love
