magical essences surround thy song in twilight
between angel's prayer and wolf's cry
mine eyes intertwine with thine
Lost moments we share, stolen 
from stars winking eyes 
As my love doth grow in these gentil sips of night
when our lips touch and I cry 
as thou aren't mine and we are lost in sighs
Once your glory bathed me not in secret 
but in golden light, in umasked smiles 
Now we are but a whisper under the moon's eyes
with thee my shadow 
Forever by me, burning in me 
The light in mine eye, thee 
The secret that mine soul carries through the longest of days 
and I, the source of thee's call in the darkest of nights
but for these stolen moments,
we will never know completion 
as thou cannot be mine 
and I cannot be thine's
For magical essences surround our song 
the forbidden love 
of a day's heart longing for a soul of night
