Forbidden Love

A love so forbidden, a feeling so tangible yet tainted. Tainted because if the complexity of this charismatic feeling, the flesh of my flesh, yet I crave this man as if it were predestined. I’ve seen him in my dreams; he was sent to me, and I him. How can this be? Is it lust, curiosity, or is it the forbidden fruit? Every day, I look into your eyes and see the man that I long for, the man I crave, the man I want the others to be.

Erotic Forte

From a distance, I hear this voice,
Its melodic tunes are incredibly erotic,
Stimulating my very soul.
I feel the words even before you sing them.
I yearn to sing with you,
But I am afraid,
Afraid to let go,
Afraid to lose control.

Crush

Through the door, an alluring yet humble man entered. A subtle glance revealed the undeniable chemistry between them. Coincidental interludes allowed for brief communication, and the energy between them grew exponentially. The time was near. Both curious about the taste, they hesitated, as if approaching an apple chilled with a hint of Hennessey. He gently kissed my lips, melting the ice. His hips and lips melted onto mine, then down my body, sending a conscious shock. The feeling was overwhelming, leaving me with no control. “What will she think?” “How will he feel?” “What will she say?” “What will he think?” “Is this happening?”
I think I love you!!

Falling

Sitting here mystified as to why I'm taken with you
Longing to talk to you
Like a school girls puppy love
Blossoming into a woman's love for a man
Not knowing what to expect
I fall, falling, falling, and falling
into this infinite hole
I call love.

The Hopeless Romantic

We spend our entire lives searching for what we believe to be Mr. or Ms. Right. However, we have forgotten the simplicity of it all. Mr. or Ms. Right should not fill a void in our lives; instead, they should be the missing link that connects us to our true selves and to each other. Mr. or Ms. Right should be the rock, the foundation, and the source of our strength.

Silence

Why should I listen
When one can't hear
Everythings silent
in one's world
So I shall be
Silent too.

THE RIVERS ARE HIGH

Rushing white waters flow down the stream,
The tide is still low, and there’s no rush. We have time to go.
As the sun sets, crickets begin to chirp,
High tide is near, so there’s no need to fear.
Your savior is coming, so don’t shed a tear.

Rivers Run High

Rushing white waters flow down the stream,
The tide is still low, and there’s no rush. We have ample time to enjoy the moment.
As the sun sets, crickets begin to chirp,
High tide is approaching, so there’s no need to be apprehensive.
Your savior is on the way, so don’t shed a tear.
