Brittle

Please be careful with me
I'm brittle, break easy
Not the outside of me
The inside and upstairs

Takes a long time to heal
It could take many years
So be careful with me
Please its all that I ask

Sometimes I Wonder

Sometimes I wonder
If there will ever be

Someone to love,
Someone to comfort me

Then I sit down and hold my head,
It might be Better when i'm dead

So I Get up and go alone
To a place where I can just forget

All the things that I find that I regret
And so I embrace the misery

The Scales

Life is full of beauty
When looked at in the light
But then comes the darkness
And we push on through the night

Life is full of sorrow
When the scales are tipped one way
We pay for things tomorrow
All those we do today

Early Mourning

Here I sit
In the early morning
Without a bit of sleep

Here I sit
Deeply mourning
And so I gently weep

Life, coarse and unforgiving
Throws me about like sand
In a sea, unrelenting
Making its way to land

The moon
A soft sliver of white
Illuminates the sky
And brings conviction
To give up the fight
And allow myself to die
