Landon Browning Poem
In many times in my life I always looked for exits.
Could only get so far and I get pulled over in the intersections.
I called them the Hate PD.
Some of them I use to call my allies but I was to blind to see.
They come at with their lights all blue and red.
Saying negative things that get inside my head.
Making me break and pullover.
Asking God "why me", then I look over my shoulder.
"Landon this GPS conscience speaking.
These negative thoughts silence them, start doing and stop over-thinking!"
On the road again as I see the red and blue lights are getting closer.
Put my foot on the gas as they're yelling at me to pullover.
Give up was turning into keep going
Now I see more lights as I'm doing a 65 in a 53
I'm weak turned into I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.
Flying past those exits with no hesitation.
Because I'm not braking for anybody who wants to keep me from my destination.
No one can replace me.
And my enemies do not faze me.
Slowing down as I shed a happy tear.
Its quiet, I look at my rear view noticed the lights have disappeared.
Believe in yourself and God with all the problems your facing.
"Landon, thanks for driving. You have reached your destination."

Landon Browning Poem
I walk in frustrated. My mind is full of anger
but I don't know who I'm mad at.
I just wanna yell but I hold it in
And take it out on those that don't deserve it.
Then the light flicks on and off
As if I'm in a ring.
I keep yelling "show yourself!"
But I get no response.
I feel an evil tension coming towards me
As I take a hit to the jaw.
I keep swinging and throwing blows
But I'm getting no where.
I keep yelling "who are you"
Then I take two to the chest and one to the gut...
I fall on my knees trying to hide my pain
Asking myself "who is this that's hurting me?"
A light comes, I looked up
And I seen myself.....

Landon Browning Poem
The day I was unwrapped. JAN. 27 1995. I
was named Landon and as I cried heard
your voice and looked into your eyes I was
pronounced as your son, and you as my
mother. From the very day I took my first
steps. From the very moment I took my
first steps. I was a son walking to his
mother my mother. The day I realized that
you were also both mother and father.
That day you was pronounced a strong
leader, my mother. Picturing you as a
mama bear raising two cubs. Wandering
through the world protecting us making
not any sneaky wolves snatch us up. Not
only you was my mother, you was an
protector, our guardian angel haha, my
mother. Those days where I was taught
something about not always having to
fight and those days where that belt was
on my mind and it always keep it right.
And to always to hold on to my dreams
and my wishes and that I don't need to
spit game to get all the girls attention. I
looked you as a teacher, my mother.
Those days where you had told me
improve on things and get better on the
little things. I use to hate that but also
looked at you as my coach, my mother.
Days where we decorated the Xmas tree. I
will never forget those things that you got
from me. All those special days I looked
you as my Santa haha, my mother. Their
were also days of frustration. And their
were so many times where we went at. If
arguments were drugs we were attics.
Frustration to anger. Anger to sadness.
Sadness turned to apologies. Because I
knew no matter what you loved me
unconditionally. Because you were my
mother. This poem I wrote for you was in
the walls in my brain but it was in the cells
in my heart. And no other women could
tear our love apart because I love you, my
mother. And a reminder to all the single
mothers. Don't let the stress and the panic
drown you and take you under.
Regardless if you a black single mother,
white single mother, Mexican single
mother,
Asian single, don't let the stress and panic
consume you and take you over. Because
I don't regret the day I was named Landon
and God never promised us an easy life
but he did promised us a safe landing
haha. May your daughters look at you as
queens and they are the princess and give
her an example on how a strong woman
should be. To all single parents I salute
you. And to my mother unwrap my gift I
have for you. I love you my mother. Merry
Christmas

Landon Browning Poem
Why?! Sometimes I ask why. I mean why?
Does the good die young, I mean why?
Does the world make it so hard for single mothers to feed their kids but have enough
money for inmates, I mean why?
Do we constanlty see history repeat itself when we have already learned it, I mean why?
Do we fear and cant trust the police, I mean why?
Do we attack and hurt the people that love us but love the people that attack and hurt us, I mean why?
Do we have a generation that believes love is unsearchable. Where hate is leaned on more. Where happienes is rare.
And where lust is a no brainer, I mean why?
Do kids know every song lyric, but doesnt know a bible scripture besides the one tatted on their arms, I mean why?
Do I have people in my life that are their for no reason, I mean why?
Do I have a pinch of believers but a handful of doubters, I mean why?
Did I have so much pain growing up, I mean why?
Do now I have enemies that use to be my friends, I mean why?!
Do things never go my way in my life, I mean why?
But Gods plans are unsearchable. So he only knows, Why.

Landon Browning Poem
Reminiscing about the camps.
Who wants it more!?
Who wants to start!?
Who is hungry!?
Stress levels are rising.
Players at each others throats.
Lap after lap.
Hill after hill.
Who wants it more?!
"WE DO COACH!"
Growing stronger every day.
Not as a person but as a unit, as a family, my brothers.
Miss new cleats coming in just so I can get them dirty again.
Lifting weights to see who was stronger.
Who wants it more!?
"WE DO COACH!"
Miss when offseason was officially over.
Hype and Butterflies couldn't wait to get on that field.
Names in the newspaper with expectations.
First game of the season was always the best.
Practicing and hitting hard all week.
Who wants it more!?
"WE DO COACH!"
Miss the locker room sessions.
Praying to God to keep us out of danger.
Exciting to see those field lights come on.
Love it when we got prep talks.
Coming out the little tunnel.
Hearing our team name be called as we run out.
Who wants it more!?
"WE DO COACH"
I miss that feeling
I miss that hype
I miss the game....

Landon Browning Poem
Excuse me. I seen you standing by wondering if you have a smile that I can borrow.
I mean you never know you might not even be here tomorrow.
I've seen you with drama and all your ex's but dry your eyes they're not nothing but lessons.
God is only molding you to get you ready for your blessing.
But you thinking all guys are the same.
He ain't nothing but different player but its still the same game.
Now how can somebody love you with that mentality and that frown.
You need to smile more because you're to beautiful to be down, not knowing one day a king will catch your crown.
And be willing enough to be like B.O.P and hol' it down.
See now look at that smile, keep your head up and stop living with sorrow because you never know you may not even be here tomorrow.
I know he played you baby girl don't put the blame on yourself, because he threw away a diamond for rock, don't put that blame on yourself.
You're beautiful and smart, that's all facts.
Now you afraid of love and afraid to show it back.
And have this wall built around you but please hear what I'm speaking.
Real NIGGAS will break your heart Real MEN will pick up the pieces.
Cut the bullshit aside and make your time worth while.
Do what it takes to make you feel optimistic and to always make you smile.
Is what I've been searching for so stop mopping in sorrow, because you never know you may not even be here tomorrow.
I know he put his hands on you but truth be told he's not a man. It was long storm you went through with a couple scars but be glad.
Out the old in the new.
Any body would be crazy for passing up on you.
A mans hands is used for comfort for a woman's stress.
A man always wants his woman to strive for the best.
Yes.
Those man still exist so smile baby girl.
Have hope and stop living with sorrow, because you never know you may not even be here tomorrow.

Landon Browning Poem
Now A' days. Sex is easier to get but love is harder to find.
But whoever said love was easy to find its like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Matter fact its like looking for Waldo at a candy cane factory.
Girls in my generation and under are flashing their palms and middle fingers to mens faces,
Saying "forget love" this and "I don't need a man that" but deep down inside they want it
More than anything, its just that they're afraid. Afraid of being hurt again. Afraid of crying again,
Being broken hearted. But baby if you let me you won't get nothing but the best out of me.
And slowly everyday I will nurture and heal your heart. A wise man once taught me that,
A womens body is Gods gift of perfection, but her love will always come with expectation.
And love isn't easy to find but once you find it, it'll be worth all the wait and the pain. You
Finally have that special someone. Someone that wants to make you happy instead of put you down.
Someone that understands your past, but wants to brighter your future, which is now our future.
And I'm not perfect and that only makes me human but if you let me inside your heart I promise I will not leave.
I promise I'll do what it takes to make you smile and feel loved.
I promise I'll be worth the wait, just like when I was waiting on you.
All you have to do is trust and let me love.
You.
If someone cares for your heart let them inside because love is colorless and blind.
And its never easy to find

Landon Browning Poem
Light it up. As I'm gazing through the
white lines. All I see is black written words
I must be high. Wiping my eyes to clear
my vision, I would be rich if I could sell
this because its so refreshing. Even when
I sleep their in my thoughts and my
dreams. Smile on my face when I hear
them saxophones sing. Dancing with my
dream girl or maybe a couple. Flashing
the finger to my haters as I stay humble.
Hearing my favorite music bumping. My
brain starts jumping. Love this feeling
wish it will never stop. But as the beat
drops and the people and the party stop I
hear a loud beep. I woke up and realized
its my alarm clock. "Beep beep beep" roll
over "bee-" man what a hangover. Now
I'm back to reality I gotta stay focused
and can't go back. But if writing and
music was a drug.....I just relapsed. Light
it up.

Landon Browning Poem
It's Valentine's Day so we will celebrate.
As Love devours and conquers hate.
When two become one, it's wonderful and great.
Love is in the air and there's no debate.
When Cupid shoots his arrow in each person's heart.
Right then and there the relationship will start.
There's nothing better than Friendship and Love.
Just like Heavenly Rain that comes from up above.
Let us all love each other in a special way.
Blessings to All and Happy Valentine's Day.

Happy Valentines Day

Landon Browning Poem
Praying, trying not to let my enemies
break me. Same stuff but just a different
day for me. Not the type to write roses are
red violets are blue. Because I feel like
nobody understands me but you. Asking
myself why are people using me. If my
heart had lips it would scream out stop
abusing me. I wish people would just
listen on what I had to say. Instead they
make fun of me and point fingers and
send me on my way. Don't let my
appearance fool you I may smile but it has
strain, hiding all my tears and the pain.
So Misunderstood
