I Am the Holy Bible,Tribute To Prophettb Joshua

I am the word of God
A unique collection of 66 books
I was inspired by the Holy Spirit
As the fountain of God's knowledge

I am called the Bible in bookshops and libraries
In the hearts of men I dwell as the Holy Bible
I am uncommon type of book
I require uncommon type of reading

As you read me I also read you
I am the mirror you need daily
I am the guide for His worship
Fountain of hope for eternal life

I am authoritative
I am infallible
I am the Roadmap
The standard for all Christians

To read me you need the Holy spirit
Reading me with grudges in your hearts is reading literature
Reading me with unforgiveness is reading history of God's Generals
Read me with hearts free from worries

Read me often
Read me slowly
Read me regularly
Read me repeatedly
Read me earnestly
Read me persistently
Read me attentively
Read me with devotion

Read me I have spiritual power
Read me I have converting power
Read me I have healing power
Read me I keep you from sins and errors

Read me I refresh your minds
Read me I rejoice your hearts
Read me I am the food for your souls
Read me I give you power in prayer

The Last Days Are Here

The last days are here!
There are wars
There are rumors of wars
Nature revolts every where!

False prophets!
With strange doctrines
Feed fat on human frailities
To man’s utter bewilderment!

Strange illnesses!
Stranger than fiction
Hold humanity
In deadly grips

Terror bearers!
Bearing human inventions
Kill and maim
In the World’s streets.

God said to our early parents
“ Go and multiply and fill the earth’’
But in disobedience
Sexual immorality rule the world

Let us repent and change our ways!
For the rapture is close at hand
 The righteous will be heaven-bound
while evil doers will burn in hell.

True Love

The sky looks blue and alluring
The lovers look tired but enduring
Clinging to love which has waned and disappearing
As memories of yesterday kept on interfering

Love looked so real and true
Filled every night with warmth untrue
Made them believe in peaceful bliss
Which did not go beyond the deceitful kiss

Human love so weak and ephemeral
Comes with intensity so ethereal
But crumbles as fast under a weak foundation
Cause it has a beginning and an end

God's love is ever enduring
Neither beginning nor ending
Love so pure and caring
Demonstrated on the cross in a manner so glaring.

I Need You Lord

I seek you lord everyday
I long for you lord in every way
The strength I need you supply all the way
Let your love dwell in me in all my ways

You are with me lord everyday
The devil may rage and display
My son's ship he cannot take away
As your presence gives me joy all the day

Trials and temptations may come my way
But they cannot take my life away
They bring me rather closer to God in every way
Challenges are thus my friends all through the way

Lord give me the grace to live daily in your ways
To glorify you in good and bad times that come my way
Cause that is the essence of my life any way
Until I go to heaven with you forever to stay

Living Steady,Tribute To Prophet Tb Joshua

I am living steady
I am moving steady
In unsteady times
Keeping my balance and smiles

Though the world is unsteady
Keep moving and ready
To meet God in His kingdom
And live forever in freedom

Glorify God in good and bad times
So that you can overcome at all times
Cause the devil goes around
Stalking victims to run aground

Jesus the rock is ever steady
He is ever ready
To save those that trust in Him from troubles
As the devil strikes His grace is doubled

I Am Corruption

I am corruption
A citizen of all Nations
The UN calls me complex social, cultural and economic phenomenon
Nevertheless, I do not mind
Countries of the world detest me publicly
However, they romance me secretly
So I relocated to Africa
To become a citizen of many African countries
Where I thrive with impunity
I am embezzlement of public fund
I am the looting of public treasury
I am economic crimes
I am bribery and receipt of illegal proceeds
Some call me theft and privatization of public resources
While others shamelessly refer to me as extortion, clientelism and patronage
However, I do not care about that
I manifest myself boldly as illegal appropriation or forgery and falsification
I am also blessed with quadruplets: abuse of state funds, waste, nepotism and favoritism
To maintain my citizenship I employ abuse of power(intimidation) and election falsification
I steal the continent’s wealth and fritter it to foreign countries
I live in slums of Africa
I live in cities of Africa
I am as ubiquitous as I am powerful
I have caused so much pain to Africa
I am the most powerful agent of African impoverishment
As you fight against me
I fight back with venom
Most African leaders love me so much
They cannot do without me
All religions worship me
The military is powerless before me
I hold the Executive to ransom
The Judiciary is my familiar abode
I am the permanent occupant of the Legislature
In me, there is no separation of power
I corrupt independently and collectively
I am a citizen in whom most African leaders are well pleased
As you can see I am well entrenched in my adopted continent
To eliminate me requires efforts
To diminish me is herculean
To tolerate me is dangerous
However I must die so that Africa can live!

Let Us Celebrate

Let us celebrate
This is not time to denigrate
Nigerians rise and jubilate
Cause we are poised to rethink and meditate

Let us roll out the drums
This is not the time to keep mum
Let the air be filled with fun
To drown the wailings and guns

Democracy has come to stay in Nigeria history
Let us celebrate a hard- won victory
A milestone in the country's trajectory
Prophets of doom remain confounded and desultory

Nigeria the hope of the black race
Rise up and keep the pace
Exterminate corruption without trace
And give the country a new face

You are destined for Leadership
A rallying point for African Fellowship
Do not be deterred by the present hardship
From claiming your divine kingship

In God's Eyes

In God's eyes
All men are equal
In God's eyes
Slaves
As well as free-born
Are the same and one people
We are all created in his image and likeness

In God's eyes there is
No black
No white
No coloured
No Christians
No muslims
No Hindus
We are the same and one people

Live therefore everyday
In his eyes
For no God's creature is unclean
Many will come from the east and west
And sit down at the feast in the Kingdom of God.

New Dawn

How time flies!
Yesterday has come and gone
Leaving behind
Mountain of memories.

The new year is here!
And everywhere
Hope of good things to come
Arise let new dreams be born!

Sad memories of yesterday
Are but destroyers
Ravaging steadily but surely
The state of sanity

Divine providence be praised!
For life being lived
For hope being restored
God let this year be good!

Arise Nigeria

Nigeria,my country,
I remember you with mixed feelings
A great contraption
A mere geographical expression.

You have never been a nation!
A mere colonial creation
A time bomb awaiting explosion

You were marked for greatness
Epitome of God's kindness
But shying away from your destiny
You mask yourself in mediocrity.

You are a bundle of contradictions!
Steeped deep in corruption
Steeped deep in religion
Feeding your children with frustration.

You are the sleeping giant,
With the limbs of a Lilliput
Moving forward a task
Agonizing and slow.

You are the king
Whose princes and princesses
Like lazarus eat the crumbs
From the table.

Let these contradictions!
Let these frustrations!
Be catalysts to battle corruption to standstill
Thereby adding value to the national till!

Let there arise a leader in your midst!
With vision
With conviction
Ready to drop dead
To make of you a paradise!
