Far From Here

Take me away to a faraway land
where troubles cease from man made plans
take me away far from here where disappointments
will disappear.

Take me away to a faraway land
where love still lives and breathes again
take me away to a faraway land
where tears don't cry and smiles befriend

Take me away far from here
where love is a holiday and
always near.

I Will Rise Again

I can't fly with this broken wing
It want let me soar,it want let me spring
I want give up,I want give in
I will rise above,I will rise again

I will bear these afflictions all alone
It will strengthen me,It will make me strong
this misfortune,I want befriend
I will rise above,I will rise again

I may waver,I may bend
never contented,I will transcend
this is not over, this not the end
I will rise above,I will rise again.

Handsfree

These hands are related to mind
these hands will strengthen in time

These hands will mold are make
these hands will build or break

These hands will love or shield
these hands will rob or steal

These hands will help save today
these hands will bow and pray.

Off To War

Lost in a maze
   trapped here for days
      swallowed by insanity
             driving me to craze

                                            Drowning in my tears
                                                        battling my fears
                                                            searching for that inner peace
                                                                                predict the end is near

Awakened through the night
with all my strength and might
              this Patriot is armed against
                                 the enemy to fight

                                            when the war is done
                                                  wounds she have is none
                                                         regain the rights to sanity
                                                                     is evidence she won.

The Morning's Beauty

The Morning's beauty
embraces my existence
its radiant sunlight so intelligent
dispenses its vividness.

Unselfish it caresses the Earth
cleansing itself with sprinkles of dew
exhaling shallow breaths like whispers
of mellow breezes.

Enhancing its nakedness with blue
spacious skies,continuing a repetitious
command in obedience to gratifying
all mankind.

I Cry

I am not a shame to cry
for this reason I will tell you why
it's healing when ever we weep
it cleanses the wounds so deep
it puts all grief to sleep
your tears are your relief
if someone should ask you why
"just say"it cures me when I cry.

Bottled Up

I feel like a genie in a bottle
drifting on the breast of the sea
                                          bottled up inside
being brushed from tide to tide
                                          no one can see me
                                          by no chance they'll
                                                   free me

These tears can't cry in this place
no space, the nights seem so long
as I drift farther and farther from
                                                      home

                                         I hope to approach land
                                          and be rescued by the
                                           feet that walks the sand

If that is not the plan
                                          I'll drift farther and farther
                                                       away
and remain a genie in a
                                                  bottle display.

Counterclockwise

Frozen in time, right before my eyes
suddenly my life reversed counterclockwise
moving right along with no hesitation
I begin to move backwards I lost concentration

Reminiscing about my past history
entertaining doubt,confusion and misery
driven to despair from the effect of my condition
blinded my thoughts I lost my position

"Lo and Behold"I was set free
ambition came to rescue me
moving forward with my eyes set
on the prize, never to revisit counterclockwise.

A New Day

The rising of the sun peeping through the horizon
staring at me like a new surprise, free flowing winds
whispering echos like songbirds vibrating through my
ears

The nakedness of morning, with its speechless thoughts
and silent screams, awakening from the sleepy eyes of
the night, escaping from insane nightmares that diminish
at the break of dawn

The sweet aroma from the Earth's tasteless breath chasing
itself like wind blown leaves, the sunlight has now cast down
its beauty like seashells drifting from the sea

The clouds they soar like ornaments, adorning the spacious
skies, and the Earth again has given herself and tomorrow "Rebirth"
an tomorrow "Rebirth."

Safe Arms

Open the door, and let me in
I bring no harm,I am your friend
I carried you through it all
my hands reached out and caught
your fall, when you cried I was near
you could not see me,but I could hear
when it became to much to stand
I shielded you,I held your hand
I secured you in my arms
until you were safe, through out the storm
I am your Savior,I am your friend
I will be with you until the end.
