Franziska Keinath Poem
It happened in the world called Asgard
Never heard by human ears
The history of one heart, scarred
And moved by love and fear
It's the story of a liar
Loki was his name
His heart of ice catched fire
The goddess Freyja was to blame
But he failed to tell her
And she moved on alone;
Now listen to what occured
In front of mighty Odins throne:
At that time the gods assembled
To feast upon their victory -
Many goddesses hearts trembled
The cause was Lokis flattery
But beautiful Freyja, angered by this
Stood up and stopped the flatterer
Lokis pride got hurt and he hissed
And with terrible words, he hurt her:
"Why do I need to shut my mouth
When your legs are wide open?
Of all the people here I doubt
You'd find one whom you haven't loved then!"
And before anything could be spoken
He left; a lonely god again
The bonds between them were broken
A lie, told to hide the loving man
But even gods sometimes surrender
To a mighty enemy, love or regret
He still was drawn to the other gender
To the woman he couldn't forget
He arrived at her chamber
Thoughts of apologie on his mind
Just to learn that Odin sent her
To a location undefined
And Lokis world again was grey
As he cried into the wind
"Why did you need to take her away
Just because once I sinned?"

Franziska Keinath Poem
With the light on my face, and the sun in my heart
All the worries have gone away
It doesn't matter that we part
A part of you will always stay
With the sun in my heart, and the light on my face
I look back at the time we shared
You have left an eternal trace
With every moment that you cared

Franziska Keinath Poem
I hate you, you should disappear
Don't ever want to see you again
Want you to go away like a man
To hear your name makes me suffer
Lose my mind if you stay
You should really go away

Franziska Keinath Poem
To create a life -
That is, to give breath to blank space,
Moving a pencil, leaving a trace
Releasing the word, only to strive
For even greater heights
Some may say, they found it in love
In a woman's gentle embrace
In which twin spirits soar dancing above
Finding their dual presence to be enough
Laying their talents to waste
Some find new life through the solace of making
Working and shaping the idea so rough
In a creature unbreathing and breathtaking
A piece of metal not sleeping but not waking
Even at those I can only laugh
It is in the end the truth that prevails
That touches our heart in the waste that surrounds
That creating new life through human hands fails
But in the ink of a book can be found

Franziska Keinath Poem
Sunshine over snowwhite mountains
Golden scales in glimmering light
Waving grass and blueclear fountains
Soft moonlight penetrating shadows at night
Red petals dancing on blackburnt hills
Grey clouds shifting through the sky
Darkbrown wings creaking at cracking mills
Wounded strangers with cold eyes passing by
Raging men with red fire in red eyes
Girls in frilly dresses, shouting names at boys
Troubled mother, shouting, as the baby cries
The young king, playing with soldiers like toys
Peace, they say

Franziska Keinath Poem
You are many miles away from me
But when you cry in the night
I feel the pain like it's my own
How cold and black you have grown
You are many miles away from me
I am many miles away from you
But I still lie awake in my bed
Your face is showing when I close my eyes
I know that you can't hear my cries
I am with you only in my head
I am many miles away from you
We are many miles away
But we used to be so close together
Now we are both hurting inside
We can't hear each other because I died
We are seperated forever
We are many miles away

Franziska Keinath Poem
One day, she likes to fly, she said
One day, she will die, she said
She wants to relive the day we met
She doesn't want to see the tears I shed
no, she does not regret
The things she could have had
Although she's a little bit sad
About the unfulfilled dreams in her head
These were her last words, then she was dead.

Franziska Keinath Poem
Bathing in the moonlight
United by their hands;
Their eyes shining bright
Seperated by different lands
Soon, those eyes will be broken
Soon, those hands will be cold
For their love is but a token
To the enemy sold
And once they lie fallen
Cold faces, struck by death
Their love has been stolen
The hope they have had
So listen, kings and peasants
Remember the story I tell
It's not their love that killed them
It's the land for which they fell

Franziska Keinath Poem
lights shine
a passing time
may this moment stop
and everything will be fine
i can see the glass drop
a thousand shards, in light they shine
a thousand thoughts, and they are all mine
it's the monotony of the world that they rob
my mind is going blank, reality fades, my feelings twine
i look at all that happened, and i stand at top
...
"Wake up!"
And the time passes once again

Franziska Keinath Poem
Far from the touch of the light
far from greed
from things we need
from things we heed
In the loneliness of the night
Why are you here by our side?
to soothe our pain?
it is in vain
we are insane
to find another place we tried
We don't want to hurt anymore
to be a disgrace
to be chased
to be erased
To stay in the darkness we swore
