Solitude.

Fight all we must.
Keep shackles away
Even from the vicinity
Of where our minds may stray.

Counter if you must
Resist what's innate
For what meets the eye
Is just another bait.

Preposterous are these bonds
For they bind no more than lies
Prudence rests with those
Who let solitude suffice.

Long Live...

Long live my tormentor
'Cause as long as the pain lingers
Thoughts shall reverberate
As you in my heart thrive...

Long live the screeching silence
'Cause as long as the emptiness speaks
The soul can be pious
As the harmony feeds on the inner voice...

Long live the indefinite path
Uncanny & dithered answers
'Cause as long as the questions last
Novel ideas & doomed roads will be conquered...

Long live the everlasting irony
'Cause as long as the vision counters
The strength shall scale new heights
And I may be one with the Creator...

The Dots...

I use them all the time
But I don't really know.
What they say or convey
Mere thoughtlessness or more?

I've seen them being used,
Excessively at times.
Where words didn't make it
The dots would suffice.

I hate the impact they have
Leaving you yearning for more
Unnerving and confounding
Indefinite conclusions I loathe

The dots in the end
Of some words desolate
Abandoned by the creator
For the other to insinuate...

Life...

I once lost a wallet
With all my 'life-lines'.
Many tersed moments later,
Cards blocked and remade.
Cash forgotten.
Contacts re-recieved.
Life found it's pace.

I once loved and lost.
Many a great times,
Dreaming future together.
Hearts found solace,
Even love, again.
Emerging out stronger,
Life moved on.

I once had a pet.
So special and dear,
Best moments I had.
Gave him away
To a loving home.
A part of me died,
The rest sprints still.

I once had a friend.
Grew up together, we
Shared bruises and secrets.
Lost her to the fate.
Cried many a tears,
Numb at the sad demise
I befriend still.

I once harbored fear.
Loss, defeat and failure,
Slowed me down a bit.
Indispensable nothing is,
No person or being.
Wheel keeps spinning.
The show goes on, always.

Curator

Standing on the crossroads
When a choice you make
The roads that go far
The voyage is at stake.
You could just stroll
You could procrastinate
Until you lose track
Lose faith in 'fate'
Walk a lane on whim
Cede to 'the unchaste'
Steer the ship yourself
Better you than Him to curate

Afterlife

They talk about heaven
And life after death.
Ignorant, ironically
Of living instead.

They mutter about hell
And what lies beyond
Suffering every day
Sadists, all along.

For once someone told me
How moksha could be found
Tis "Living in the moment"
"Rooted to your ground"

I look around and wonder
How many of us do?
"Live in the moment"?
Or embrace the truth?

The truth that we deny
With all mighty disgrace
Heaven and hell to dissemble
In this evil masquerade.

No Place Like Home

When it gets too comfy,
As a vagabond.
When you can't find your niche,
And you need to belong.
There's no place like home.
And you just cant return.
When the hunt is lost,
Destination en route,
Halts excruciating,
Foundations removed,
No place like home,
Stranded to brood.
When beloveds estrange,
And Strangers invade.
'too soon' trivializes,
And tidbits remain.
No place like home,
No place less sane.

Unsure

These thoughts that I run from
These dreams of you
I reckon they won't rest
Without knowing you do too.

You do wonder 'what if'
And you'd kill to explore
Those roads we abandoned
Those 'could have been's unsure.

I admit being at fault
For despairs galore
I beg you to set me free
I can't take this anymore

Do you wonder 'what if'?
Would you kill to explore?
Those roads we abandoned
Those 'could have been's unsure?

Just take me with you
Let's just go back in time
Let's start from where we left..and
I wanna get it right this time...

Solo

With open arms
And staring wryly
A curve on the lips,
I relish catastrophy.

The turmoil you see,
The bizzare irony;
These are just...
My accomplices really.

They say I choose
To embrace agony
When the rest crashes down...
Where else could I be?

Rebuild

Demolish what you own.
Strive to achieve.
The seemingly impossible,
An instinct or intrigue.
Keep inhibitions aside.
Work for a need.
Ends justify means.
Afloat isn't a feat.
