My Own Prison

Angry at the world or maybe with myself
No one sees the hurt in me my expiring mental health
The demons that surround me
What my life has come to be
Lock me up and throw the key
This empty hole inside my heart
The pain I feel will never part
I only hope I do not start
For now I fight my eternal war
Sitting wondering what's at my core
Why was I so naïve to think
That my life couldn't change in a blink
So now I sit in my disgrace
Never to feel his sweet embrace

A Lonely Man

A lonely man is what I see
Whose heart he has never let be
A sad sad life that should've never been
To all the pain he has seen
An utter and ugly disaster
At the hands of the puppet master
The scars run long and deep
For what secrets one must keep
The say time will heal
What happens when you want to keel
An angels touch an undying love
Is what he needs to rise above
Above the grief above the loss
Time to show all whose boss
A handsome man one who can withstand
The ties that bind us all
It's time to let your heart be free
And open up to what can be
