Thank God Made Dogs

I know why god made dogs
its perfectly clear to me
to make us better people
the likes of you and me.

they teach us loyalty and love
they teach us how to give
for that Im grateful to my dogs
as long as I shall live.

without dogs this world would be
a dreary place to be
so Im glad I have my dogs
not one, not two but three!!!

My Love For Dogs

I love each one of my dogs I do!
they love me back I know its true
I will never question their love for me
or their undying loyalty.

People can say all they want to say
about my dogs and their doggie ways
without them here my life would suck
I would be like a fool down on his luck.

so dont get between my dogs and I
instead just try to see eye to eye
oh how wonderful it would be
if you shared my love for dogs with me.

I Cant Begin To Tell You

I cant begin to tell you how much I miss my dog
I spend days reminiscing my mind is in a fog.
and though I know he was old and had to go away
I cant begin to tell you the role that he did play.
he played a part in everything that I did in my life
I cant begin to tell you how he lessened every strife.
I always hurried home to see him, I would hardly ever leave
to think I will never see him again I just can not conceive.
what will I do without him he brightened up bad days
he would wiggle and would make me laugh with his many playful ways.
he was more human than anyone I know and he loved me so much
he gave such love and loyalty I will miss his little touch.
So now I sit in sadness my eyes are filled with tears
I just cant seem to comprehend that he is no longer here.
I know they say time heals all wounds but how much time will that be?
you see I never had children and he was like one to me.
I cant begin to tell you the emptiness in my soul
for he was the one my precious dog, the one that made me whole.

I Rescue Dogs

I rescue dogs, its what I do
I will continue to do it my whole life through.
because these dogs are innocent and they have done no wrong
we have been unfair to them for far far too long.
they have no voice thats why were here
we must always be strong and not show our fear.
because we are all that theyve got
we are their voice and thats a lot
although its hard to save them all
we must be brave and always stand tall.

Fostering a Dog

thank god for dogs they make my life whole
I love them all young and old
although some of them just come and go
I will remember them all that I know.
they leave paw prints on our hearts
its always love right from the start
dog spelled backwards is god
its gods best creation by far!!!!
