Joseph Webb Poem
Crystal Ocean above
Swirling, dancing
Blanketing the world eternally
Submersed in the heavenly broth
Always giving, always taking away
Existence forever praising
Singing, delivering
Persistent eruptions of hope
Pouring itself into young hearts
Forlorn, longing
No longer desolate
Deserted, abhorred
New life turning over
Scouring ‘way bleakness
Trepidation, apprehension
Life restored,
Adored, unabsorbed
Listlessness Banished away
Buried high within
The Crystal Ocean above

Joseph Webb Poem
Even when the trees have forfeited their leaves
Lost eternally in a fog-filled plain of despair
And all is submersed in deafening silence
I brace myself for colder winds
Still I notice you on colder nights
When darkness encroaches on my soul
Reminiscing of peaceful mountain bliss
Encased in an indomitable white blanket
All creation shivers underneath
Forceful piercing winds blowing gray
Gnawing away my hope for more
But what was relentlessly frozen through
Has bravely surfaced impenetrable doubt
Redecorating life in vivacious greens
Even now in death you open intrepid doors
For new life to begin an extravagant novel journey
And so it is with you and how you make me new
In every season's change
