Who swore an oath and saw it through.
The ones temptation couldn't touch.
Like people rarely do.
The strong of will and heart and soul.
Very rarely cups half full.
Who earned their keep and paid their toll.
The very truly true.

Here I am.
A somewhat shame.
I won't pretend,
I'm not to blame.
I don't defend,
My selfish ways.
Its not a
Passing phase.
It is in fact a world gone black.
A train set loose without a track.
A point of never looking back.
An undenying fact.
A wasted pasted fallacy.
That is my own. The what is me.
So shamefully I have to be.
I am the Darkness Black.

In retrospect I tried to lie,
To hide the thing that lives inside.
I hoped in fact that it had died,
I see now I was wrong.
I slipped and dipped and ducked and dove.
I slept in every crevice cove.
Just like spider webs are wove.
I journeyed ten yrs gone.

It seems that all the rest have found.
i have no rhyme or reason.
my treason holds me down.

Have you ever seen the dawn?
It always goes away.
Like life, good things do not stay long.
The bad seems to remain.
What a twisted, sick, sadistic, morbid piece of mind.

Here i am, i wont pretend.
I sometimes, maybe act like them.
I make mistakes and think bad thoughts.
I sometimes act on what im taught.
I mope around in cold dismay,
Longing for the clouds of grey.
Dreaming of a better life,
Searching for a higher high.
Yet who i am, is far more deep.
An honest, anxious , coward , freak.
I speak yet always never hear.
Its like their plans are never clear.
I steer away from confrontation.
Ive gone that route too long.years wasted.
I always speak in song and rhyme
In my own head im stuck. Confined.

Here we are It seems again .
we went and let the monster in.
the smell of pitch His sickening grin.
has crawled beneath our skin
we trash around like evil clowns
our painted smiles turned to Frowns.
hope is gone our hands are bound..
our words have lost their sound.
what once was love now turns to Hate.
the monster feeds Offl of our pain.
if we ever love again
who would let him in.
