Tragedy of Love

Did you feel the trust?

Oh, effervescent lusting

Cracking your core

As the trysting truffles of love

Unfolded?

Cranking at your heart

That came into you, to start

And the piece that you felt

Was it always so irrational?

Misunderstood, by change of good

The nature of what you had

Fell apart.

So you dig it away

And listen to what friends say

For they seem to have your best interest

At heart.

Where did it go? Why did it leave?

And why does it come to stay

After you ask it to recede?

Perhaps, you can’t let go.

So, it re seeded because you

Can’t let go.

Those mongrels in black

Attacking because they lack

That truth that you share

That love and despair.

The shared residence of shacking

Creative love while others were forsaking,

That love that they once felt.

So they push it on you

Creating your mind into a zoo

Of questions of seriousness

And the plunge of a gregarious nature.

An intertwined fate

To be classic

Love and Hate

But passion so deep

It made you loose sleep

So much you perhaps fell

Back into his arms again.

Journey

My mind has been set in separation
A continual sedation
To help hesitation
In my case
the operation
of my vacation
Infusing my creation
Of poems and litigation
I suppressed agitation
And I created the notion
Of magic and proportion
That could free the opposition
Of my fearful disposition.

To Begin

As I lay here awake, the space in our bed.

The sorrows you'd forsake, the harsh words you said.

Countdown to the day of feeling forever burned.

My carelessness wonders if IT will return.

That classic understanding, the rush relived.

The peacefulness caressing our mangled faces

In the lime light, it's left traces

of your and my hearts' desires.

This space in my bed, the reluctance in your heart

That piece of what is said, the cravings of a new start

I hope that it'll make up for the loss on my part

and shift this chance of change into the whatsoever

forever loving, my task I forever ask my heart

I plead and pray

for this to never end

For that'll be the day,

IT will be the day,

That this will have to end

and our friendship will

Begin.

Amends

To appease the post of profoundness

you break away to progress

Through mindless battles of ego and treacherous confiding like chemo

Creating your reality and fakeness----You have turned around and taken this

Frozen heart, none the less, and given it a "cliched" reason to "die."

Secrets of better days --often heard in "mending our ways"

Our paths cross and seem untouched.

The certainty of nothingness has cradled our lives

and ambushed this thing that we call love.

The car is dead, my friend.

Our travels will very soon end

up in our hearts, broken-left only to mend

all in the damned name of Love.

Your change is a choice, to progress and to voice

because what you had is a blast

at my heart

and my soul.

I've created havoc again, only to seem to choose the "sin"

of letting it go

and trusting it so

for the last loves I've had

never mend.
