My Neighbor

We grew up together,
him and me,
we built sand castles,
and first kissed under the tall oak tree.
Junior high made us split,
jocks.preps,
such different clicks.
Graduation day made us cry,
as we packed our bags,
and said goodbye.
Miles and miles stood between us,
but neither one of us would forget,
our first kiss.
Five years later we met at a reunion,
we were so pleased,
he said"I thought I'd never see you again",
From that day on,
we've been together,
growing old,growing strong,happily forever.

Love

I'm sitting here,
on the side,
wandering,
waiting,
for you to realize.

If you love me,
let me know,
I know it's hard,
for you to show.

I have feelings,
they need attended,
my heart feels broken,
It needs mended.

Little Lover

Caress me with your hands,
love me with your heart,
promise you'll never leave me,
and we will never part.

Promise to love me,
through thick and thin,
promise you'll be there for me,
til the very end.

Confide in me,
as I do, in you,
cheer me up,
when I'm feeling blue.

Comfort me,
when I'm scared and alone,
tell me you love me,
don't leave me unknown.

The Rose

I see the water drip from its petals,
in the dirty,brown dirt,
the water settles.
The sun hasn't been out for days,
to spread its light,
or shine its rays,
against the soft texture,
it starts to decay.
The leaves turn down,
against the ground, 
the rose,
is no longer a rose,
its brown.

Life

Years go by so fast,
memories fade,
the past is the past.
You never forget,
the memories and good times,
the footprints made in your heart,
are there forever,
since the start,
and the end of time.

Sadness

The time has come to say goodbye,
please don't forget me,
please don't cry.
The good times we shared,
could never be compared.
You'll make new friends,
and special memories,
throughout that time,
I know you'll think of me.
