Your Journey Your Destiny

Graduating college where do I stand
I know God has a big plan
A plan for me
I'll just wait and see
Where my life takes me
And opportunities that arise
My future is definitely a big surprise
I have this feeling inside
That God will guide
He'll guide me through my life that is
Hopefully one day I'll be in show biz
I love to write and read and learn
To be successful is something I yearn
To make a difference in the world
No longer am I a little girl

Lifes Path

One being can change the world
Your put on this earth for a reason
Whether you realize or not
There’s a higher being
With a deeper meaning
Keep on dreaming
You’ll find your way
One day
Admit it or not you have a lot to say
Outgoing or shy
Give it more than one try
Allow your voice be heard
You may just make a difference
Express yourself
Have a little faith
You wont succeed if you sit around and wait
To God I pray
I will be happy for all of my days
You got to get up and try
Before you know it will be your time to die
Full fill your destiny
Because it is set in stone
By God alone
The choices you make will lead you in the right direction
God has you under his protection
Be true to yourself
Be true to your God
Let Go Let God
And Life won’t ever seem that hard

Secret Relationships

No words ever spoken
Scared the relationship will be broken
Their relationship with their love
Their relationship with their desired one
Deep down every ones seeking fun
Feelings arise as time goes by
Before you know it you catch each others eye
Playing it cool around the crew
Wishing you were alone just for a few
So many unspoken feelings in the air
Thinking life can be so unfair
Now finally you're both alone
And your both fully in the zone
Get so close you're lips almost touch
Something about tonight feels so right
You act on it quick and make the first move
Everything around you is a blur, yet
So many thoughts flowing through your head
If your man walks in you'll both be dead
Feels so right yet feels so wrong
Wishing this kiss would last very long
Don't want to be the first to pull away
Oh boy this made my day
Don't know when we'll have this opportunity again
Wishing he wasn't just my friend
A little spark turned into a flame
The feelings we have are the same
Everyone wants what they can't have
Your man can give you the world
But your desire for something new
Is the selfish coming out in you
Nothing is ever good enough
No one is ever satisfied
But this is reality...
Is anyone faithful or do they put on an act
Yep
Thats what they do as a matter of fact
Everyone pretends
Some till the end
Others get caught and then they fought
To start all over might be a blessing
Personally for me it was refreshing

Heaven Is Your New Home

As the sunrise shines upon my face
A teardrop falls from my eye
The warmth gives me comfort
I feel your presence
What else to represent you besides the sun
The most powerful source of energy in the sky
I look away, what do I see,
The moon, opposite the sun
Look in between night and day, the clouds move in fast toward me
It's mid day
Still you consume my entire mind
You're in my dreams; day and night
Our initials, P.M. A.M.; night and day, like our personalities, yet one.
Opposites attract.
Brother and sister, best friends at birth
No longer are you with me on earth
My angel in the sky
Your new home is Heaven

Refreshing Rain

Rain dives down onto land
Grass oceans and even sand
Gently falls upon my hand
My reflection in the raindrop
Who is this I see
Tiny little drops of rain
Created high up in the sky
In the clouds is where it lies
Cleanses planet earth
Soon after its birth
Washes away evil and sin
Gives one a sense of refreshment
Planet earth is truly a blessing
Wash away all earth's pain
Earth. Please.
Wash away my sins
Let the water rain down on me
Replenish myself to start a new
Slight regret gives off a sense of weight
Heavy on my shoulders
I carry this around
But I must accept my sins to set myself free

Rainbows In My Clouds

My mother an angel
Light shines upon her,
Brilliant and bright
Never ending source of might
Paving the way for her daughter,
Yes me
So thankful I am able to see
Endless, endless, endless, love
God sent her from up above
Has my best interest at heart
How did she become so smart
Full of wisdom
Unable to pin point exactly how
My mom has that umth pow
Powerful woman
Always puts rainbows in my clouds
My mom one in a million
The day I became yours is the day you became mine

Moon Light

The moonlight brightens up the night
With all its strength and all its might
Nights so dark but moon so bright
It glows upon my house just right
When it's at its peak of height
That's when it is at its purest white
It is such a gorgeous sight
A sight to see
Just for me
Always got me wondering
I wonder about outer space
And how its such a beautiful place
Has so much history
Yet still a mystery
So much to explore
I want to learn more and more
Want to get down to it's core
I think about this at four
Four a.m. and I see the moon
As shines upon my house
And cast light throughout the world

A Change In the Wind

Your energy was so strong.
The room is now silenced.
Days go by as they always did, but life will never be the same.
Emptiness lingers all around me.
Although, a new beginning for you.

A Speechless Night

My nightmares hold me down
And take away my voice
I try and try to yell
It's someone from hell
He floats around me late at night
And holds me down with all his might
Waits for me to fall into that state of mind
State of mind where I'm asleep
But hear and see and feel it all
My parents are who I try to call
Petrified to fall
To fall into this state of mind
Where I have no control
When the devil grasps my soul
A time he can conquer my mind and body

Second Thoughts

Can't tell him how I truly feel
He will not think I am being real
It's not perfect timing for us I bet
We can't get married yet
He has my heart
But my brains wondering
I'm all he wants in life
He wants me to be his wife
We still need time to grow
Oh how I miss him so
Yes he's my first love
God sent him from up above
Life is about connecting the dots
And I know he completes my puzzle
Him and I met for a reason
During that holiday season
Six long years ago
Feels like eternity though
Maybe I should just let this breakup be
Oh how badly he wants to grow old with me
Six years we been together
I thought it would last forever
He holds a special place in my heart
Is arguing enough to keep us apart
What do I do
Stay away or make the call
Oh how I made the fall
I fell in love with a guy
Is it time to say goodbye
The decision I make is key
It will change my eternity
Keep my distance
Or hold onto him tight
When will I see the light
Is he Mr. Right?
I can write about him and I all day
Oh how my days have been gray
Why is life so tough
Is our relationship that rough
No one understands us
They just see all the fuss
I know he is the one for me
The only man I want to see
He makes me feel just right
When I sleep next to him at night
I think about him all day long
And when he use to sing me a song
Three weeks is just too long
Was this breakup over due
Or is it just for a few
Days weeks months years
It brings me so many tears
I have this sadness in my heart
How long will we be apart
Will we speak tomorrow
Or will my day be filled with sorrow
I'll just have to wait and see
What God has in store for me
